Good list. Tell me the thought behind Donovan Thompson and Jojo Jackson being ranked in the top 10.

Also I see you are not too high on Vosean Joseph and Eric Mitchell.

Also I see keir Thomas is low. Is that because his ceiling is low as it pertains to the next level?

I like that 2 of 3 Top running backs in south florida are committed to Miami, an this is definitely a future position of need.

Go Canes

Joseph Jackson, seen him live before. No orange and green shades. He has not even hit anywhere close to ceiling and he's productive already. He has the athleticism and ability to be a TE but his money position is DE. I'm impressed with him production wise as well as athletically and his potential going forward and he Plays basketball as well. He is an elite prospect all around and could probably be even higher on my list at the end of the year.

Donovan Thompson. I give him the benefit of the doubt for his height because he has proven himself over and over again. I've seen many linebackers who happen to be an inch or two short be complete nightmares for opposing teams throughout college football and I've stuck to it that he is Dades best defensive player for 2016 for the longest time now. I will remind you, Denzel Perryman and Sean Spence our two most recent great all-ACC/all-American linebackers were both in that 5'10"-5'11" range. Thompson had a whopping 57 tackles in a 3 game span against top 25 nationally ranked teams to start off the season for Central. To add along leading Dade County with 167 tackles, and adding in 14 sacks. While I really wanted Donovan Thompson in this class. I still like the linebacker class we have, if there is room or they want to take one more, a guy like Donovan Thompson or Lawrence Graham from American Heritage Delray should be first in line. Sadly I think Thompson might end up blowing up at another school.

Yes and Yes to the questions on Joseph and Mitchell as well as K.Thomas. Joseph speed at linebacker is a huge red flag and I havnt seen anything that sticks out to me about him as a linebacker yet, he has better size than some linebackers I have in my top 50 but his production is not even close. Mitchell would have to be used situationally for UF, he's a lot smaller than I thought he would measure at when he did at the Miami Nike Combine and I was a little meh about him.

I'm a big fan of Keir Thomas game. But the way that he is a tweener, his height and size is very questionable at the next level for both DE and DT. He would need to put on a lot of muscle as I don't think he has the speed to be a DE either. If he pans out at the next level he could be scary but it will take a lot of work.

As a player alone though Keir Thomas would be in my top 10 BUT so would Shakur Cooper and I have questions on if he could even play LB at the next level cause he's way too small to play DE and he hasn't played a lot of LB either at Coral Gables.

That's why despite Shakur Coopers unreal numbers he has put up in Dade as a pass rusher. Josh Uche and Emmett Rice would get a look before him by schools because they have athleticism, size and speed that you can't teach.

Aaron Thompson projects better than Keir Thomas IMO. I think he has the make to be a great 4-3 DT or 3-4 D-End, Miami needs to offer him ASAP. He is legit.

The most underrated kid on my list though. I would say is Gee Stanley the LB/S from coral gables. I think he would be an ideal SS at the next level, just the only issue is he doesn't play much safety at all for coral gables but he has the tools. Plays linebacker for Coral Gables.

It's funny cause I've mentioned this before to DMoney. I feel Devin Gil is playing the wrong position. Ive said he should be a linebacker and I said that Stanley was playing the wrong position as well cause I think he should be a safety.

Stanley could end up a lot higher on my list at the end of the year. Think he might be a better LB/S prospect than Gil, I just need to see more of Stanley in coverage, that's my only question.

I respectfully disagree with Rasul being so high. I understand his "potential" which you stated you took into consideration, but to me right now he is just simply an extremely fast athlete. I just don't see the natural running ability right now to be top 10. But again that's just my opinion and overall Geo this is a great list and I appreciate you putting in the work there man!

I like Donovan Thompson too. But when I saw him standing next to Wayne Steed I kind of saw the coaches apprehension. It's not just the height but he looked light and didn't have a big frame.

If a guy like GSimmons or MPinkney drop off, I def make him the plan B. Def shouldn't be a C or D option.

I will have to keep my eye on JJackson this year. I like his size and athleticism but I want to see the production to match.

I really like Shakur Cooper. Isn't he basically like a Gabe Terry? Maybe not as good as an athlete. But you can't deny the #s he put up.

TOp notch list Geo I just cant wait for this season to get going theres alot of d1 talent all over dade and broward

Nice list very accurate, for me I'm not just that big on Snelson, Newbold, and McIntosh. I like Hammond better than Newbold but not Snelson. Also, a little bit off topic, but who would you say is the best DE in Florida this cycle, my personal bold pick would be Bosa and its not even close. I like Bethel and J. Jackson as well.

Bosa by a long shot. The kid Thomas seems to be next in line as far as putting pressure on QB. But, Bosa is the best. Jackson has the a chance to be to number 2 on the list.

They both left me with question marks when they went up against quality linemen that are FBS size such as 2016 OG Solomon Kindley from Raines HS in Jacksonville or Baveon Johnson (FSU Commit) from Lakeland, FL. UM needs dline players that whip these types of kids an neither Thompson or Thomas was up to the task.

Manuel, Bosa and Robinson are close as far as the best in Florida...

Nice list. Think Handy's a bit better than Sutton, though. I've seen Handy against real competition, in 7v7, and at the combine. Looked better than Sutton in the games that mattered and 7v7s, and put up better numbers at the combine. I know Sutton had a bunch of sacks against the keys gates of the world, but so did Delvin Jones at La Salle lol.

I see Manuel is rated above Bosa but to be honest I'm not seeing it based off film and highlights. Really want him to be a cane but when I compare Manuel with a Clowney or Nkemdiche based off his rating/film the gap is not close IMO. Him being a IMG will be a sight to see though.

I think both Bosa and Manuel deserves their 5* rating but neither one of them are freaks like Clowney and Nkemdiche....I also agree that Manuel will really shine at IMG because teams won't be able to key on him due to Shavar being with a bunch of other good athletes like Bosa at Aquinas...
