UGA hasn't been a final 4 team last 2 years, and I see them as 9 win type team this season. If it breaks right 10-2.

In 10 years at UGA he had a good OC 3 years

Coming off a NC he hired ******* Mike Bobo, mean to tell me he didn't have the resources to go out and find someone besides a retread?

They were college friends and roommates at THuga. ****, it goes back even further than that. They played middle school ball together. It was a very easy call. It’s probably gonna cost him some wins… which is why he has to recruit like a madman to make up the difference.

Ok, could care less about UGA, Kirby or Bobo, but suggesting he doesn’t have a record or credibility to fall back on is nonsense. We can all question his OCs, but a record/resume is about winning football games. Just win, baby — right?
So, he only had a good OC for 3 years. That’s brilliant. Somehow he’s managed to go 105-19, win 2 national titles, 3 SEC titles, play in 6 SEC championship games, and 3x SEC Coach of the year.
The 3 yrs before Monken he was 36-7, 24-4 since he left. Monken obviously took the offense & program to a higher level, but Kirby still fields a competitive team.
As Canes fans, let’s hope Mario can keep it rolling and get to the next level.

On offense i think its completely valid.

But they will still have an elite defensive and recruit that side at an elite level

Of course he had the BEST TALENT.
 
This kid is from my area - Long Island. There have been kids over the years who go to Alabama, Georgia , Tennessee and even South Carolina.

Rarely do the ones who go to Georgia or Bama stay ......

I would have understood more if he picked OSU, Penn State, Michigan.....
