Good listen. Stated that the ACC contract is set to expire sometime between 2031-2035. Mentions that we are currently playing for our next contract, not our current one. That OU/Texas announced they were leaving the Big 12 few years before they actually did. And that we expect to be playing with the best of the best. Take that info how you will.

As many of us have said, it cannot be overstated how important it was/is for Miami to be good at football right now. Moving to the B1G is not 100.0% dependent on football success, obviously. But a championship contenting, year over year, Miami football monster is INCREDIBLY attractive for a conference. We turn televisions on, period. When we're good, it's a draw, period. Everyone hates us, period. It's so, so, so important to acknowledge what Mario has done and even more important to sustain it.

Yes. And importantly regarding the other non-football necessary stuff...some of that stuff is not stuff that you can just do overnight. And we're not talking about going from mediocre in a sport to great; we're talking about things like having a d-1 sport you do not even offer and never have. Things that take thoughtful planning multiple years in advance to have ready if/when an opportunity window opens...
