I'm sure everyone has noticed that these predictions are NEVER 100% correct? I give these predictions the same consideration you should give toilet paper.

I almost prefer going into the season unranked, that doesn't mean **** anyway
 
Fpi is a useless metric based on simulations. All you have to do is look at lsu and auburn being top 11 but only projected to win 7-8 games. It’s trying to rank teams objectively based on how they would do playing an average team on a neutral field, which isn’t reality

How in the sam heck is Pitt ranked in the top 10 after losing a potential 1st round pick at QB? I get that Slovis had his moments at SC but he is nowhere near the level of player Pickett was

Maybe I’m crazy but, I think a healthy Slovis has a higher ceiling than Pickett. Not saying he’ll be better this year, but that guy they got from BC is good. He turned their offense and Jurkovich, from nothing into something. It’ll be interesting to see how they do.
