For 15 years we've had a mediocre at best head coach (Clappy) followed by 2 God awful head coaches (Shannon and Golden.) Richt is a relief after that. Truthfully Richt has a better resume than any coach has ever had when they first took the Miami job. Johnson and Erickson were a bit over .500 when they arrived here. I'm not saying Richt will do better than Johnson and Erickson- I'm just saying he has a more impressive resume than they did when they came to Coral Gables.

I predict Richt will go somewhere between .750 and .800 as coach.

First year he should get 9 wins.

With a full year to recruit and implement his offense we will see. I am VERY anxious to see how the defense steps up to the challenge this year.

10 to 11 wins...****** State University loses to us for the first time since 2009

If JJ and Erickson coached at UGA instead of Oklahoma State and Wazzou they likely would have had better records than Richt.

He is here around 10 years. He builds a solid winner.

I think he gets a national championship around year 10 and then retires (maybe moves up to AD).

I would happily take the following results:

Win vs. Cupcakes, FSU, 4 ACC games, and 2 of 3 against UNC/GT/VT
Loss at ND (competitive showing)
Loss in ACCCG vs. Clemson (competitive showing)
Bowl Game Win

fist 10 win season the flood gates will open up. He will play for a Championship sooner than later

I dont know when he will win but if dude is giving a mill from his pocket he knows hes going to win

I think Miami will make the CFP in 2019, Idk if Richt will ever win a NC. I think he retires after 6 seasons at Miami.

You think he can survive at Miami for 10 years without winning an NC? This is Miami not FSU or UGA. I think Mark beats FSU this year and wins Coastal but he will need to get that NC if he wants to be here 10 years. That said, we could do worse for AD. I like that idea.

The Hurricanes become a legitimate ACCCD team y-t-y.

Some seasons he catches lightning in a bottle and CFP run comes into conversation...other years same same...but the team drops some heartbreaker/head scratcher games against opponents they should beat...

Overall top to bottom program upgrade from previous staff...

Can you predict some great Vegas longshots?
