55th. Lol at anyone touting the defense. Let's play a few more games before we get fooled again
 
I'm going with Casey Kasim and the top 40. The teams we play aren't all that great, and the defense is playing much better.
 
We were 116th in total defense last year. This year we'll finish 86th.

I say top 40. I think the only team that will slice and dice us is FSU. Im willing to put out defense toe to toe against the rest! I like the potential and I like how our front 7 is playing. When you have two legit DTs (Hert and Jenkins), a stout DE (Chick), two LBs that are playing great right now (Thurst and Denzel) and a headhunting S (Carter) thats a good formula for mass improvement.

All we need now is for the CBs to get their head out of their a$$e$ (yes im talking to you Tracy) and for AQM or Tyriq to show up to the party and we might be on to something.

The question is...can our offense keep them off the **** field!? Smh.

If they could just stop playing games right now we'd be set! They're already puking out the excuses. AQM for off the field matters, yet letting him dress. AD Fake James with the "sanctions are real! Listen to my gysum!" (meanwhile we're only down a few scholarship players, nothing like USC... nothing). After the next few weeks we'll be lucky to be in the top 70. FSU is trash this year and will cram over 400 on us. Huskers will too.

it will snowball once we hit the meat of the schedule and the team has fully lost faith in F/A/G
 
You didn't have an option in the poll for people who think that the Canes D doesn’t make it into the top 100.

I voted top 40. That would be a huge improvement over last year. Anything near the middle of the ACC would be pretty impressive after losing Figs, Blue, and AQM.
 
if our offense can figure out how to convert a 3rd down and keep the defense off of the field long enough to take a ****, we could be a top 40 defense.
