Go on record now. Let's see where everyone stands. If Rosier starts, I expect the following:

Duke — Win

GT — Toss up, but I'll say loss.

VT — Loss

Pitt — Win

If someone else starts — Perry, Williams, or even Weldon — I believe we beat GT. But with CMR's playcalling a loss is not outside of the realm of possibility, even with a change at quarterback.

Duke and Pitt will be easy wins. This team plays way better at home.

GT will be a win....we've traditionally defended GT very well.

VT is a toss-up. Their defense is AWFUL right now, but Miami's offense is worse.

I'll say 3-1, but 4-0 or 2-2 wouldn't surprise me at all. The only thing that would even remotely surprise me would be losing at home to Duke or Pitt. The other 2 road games, anything is on the table IMO.
 
3-1, not sure who we will lose to (my guess is at GT) but it will be another team we are more talented than
 
Probably 3-1 (losses @GT or @VT) but I'd still be heated if we don't run the table
 
I've got us going 2-2. I think we narrowly beat Duke at home given that we're better at home than on the road. I also think we wake up against Pitt given last year's debacle.

On the flip side, you're going to see how bad it is when you have an inconsistent offense that can't sustain drives against GT. Our offense plays right into what GT does - wear your defense down. Our defense will show up, but our offensive inconsistencies will have them on the field constantly unless we move in a different direction at QB with Williams or Perry going forward.

For VT........yeah we're not winning that one.

Couldn’t agree more. GT gonna run all over us because LBs will be guessing all game.

Won't mind being wrong AF, but don't think I am.
 
hopefully we lose every single game but in those games the seniors do enough to raise their draft stock and enough to get Mark Richt fired

A narrow victory over Duke
A frustrating loss at GT because our offense can't do ****, so GT milks the clock with their archaic style and wins the time of possession battle 43-17
A loss at VT because we suck horse **** on the road
A win over pathetic Pitt

7-5. A dumpster fire season.
 
If we lose or play like *** Saturday night, we will not win another game. Team is easy to predict, especially when things are going badly.
 
Hard to say due to how inconsistent this team has been and how downright poor they have looked the last two games. But we should be able to beat Duke at home; Pitt stinks and is at home; beating GT is all about defending the triple option which puts that game in our favor; and VT has looked pretty bad lately. No trip to the Burg is an easy one, but I think we should be able to beat VT. I see no reason we don't win out, IF we play to our capabilities, even with the current players, current staff and current scheme. Having said that, you won't find me betting a dollar on any Miami game from here on out.
 
I predict a **** ton of FB Dives, 4 verticals, and running into 8 man boxes.

We'll get some more allocation of blame towards the players and also references to artificial "signs of improvement" and "more time needed".
 
1. I don't understand where fans here actually think Rekt may get fired if we tank.

He won't. He won't resign either.

We can put some high hopes on slim odds that he gets an OC or other coaching changes, but he's more likely gonna rely on development and crootin'.

2. Pitt? Why are people so ****sure that we beat them?!

Every game is a tossup RN.

Exactly right on GT. I am going to sit back and watch just how long the defense will be on the field because we cant pick up meaningful 1st down yardage on O to get in 3rd and short.
 
I don’t care if we win out if the wins are a sloppy mess. That would just embolden Richt.
 
Think they drop them all. Maybe we win one, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Dook just put +40 on Pitts defense. Lost in a shootout. We beating anyone in a shootout? lol.
GT- away. See past two away games.
VT- Away. Lol. Sure, we have a snowballs chance in that
Pitt- Scoring on Narduzzi. Ok.
