Agreed, agreed; however, Manny couldn’t sell “Miami sucks” too hard either because everyone knew he was walking a pretty nice gig - he just didn’t have a QB.
QB has been one of Miami’s strongest areas this year, but DB, DL, LB, OL and ST have been average to disgustingly bad.
He'll be like the other losers that did enough to keep their jobs for a few years before their eventual firingManny is going to win enough to keep his job. Not because the team has turned a corner. That's just our luck. FSU, FIU, Louisville and I won't be surprised if we beat Pitt &/or Duke. The team will continue to look like unprepared dog ****. But the decision makers won't care. All they'll see is the win total.
Agreed.Jordan has played well, Dallas has been a magician! He’s singlehandedly kept Miami in games.
but what I mean is that this team was already talented, it just needed a QB and a scheme. Either QB is good enough, certainly better than the opposition QBs, Miami just needed a scheme. Cry about the OL -and they’re bad - but that’s coaching and a disadvantageous scheme.
2 of the 3 wins we have now are the Mighty Chippewas and Buffoon-Cookman. just ****.ALL LOSSES AND THAT INCLUDES FIU. MANNY IS TOAST. WE WIN 3 GAMES
And don't forget the schedule was set up as close to perfectly as possible for a soft landing for the rookie coach and a team with significant DB turnover.I was referring to BEFORE the season started when Manny was hyping the program. In short: Miami had a team that a coach could win with, the athletes just needed coaching and decent schemes. Fast forward to today and even among the most optimistic (read: me) there’s still the possibility that Miami won’t win again this year. That’s on Manny and the coaches he hand-picked.
4-8.
