Predict the first series under Baker against Florida

This is one of my questions going into this season:

How much of this Defense is going to be Blake Bakers vs Manny Diaz?

Manny Diaz gifted Blake Baker the keys to an elite defense. It's a blessing and a curse depending upon how you look at it. It's a blessing for your resume to have your name on defense that is projected to come back and have another terrific 2019 season. A curse in that this defense was on pre-built before he arrived to Miami. How many more things can he do to get these Canes playing at a even higher level than they have been? 247Sports had an article comparing our D to Alabama, Clemson and Michigan's defensive effort in 2018 and we were in the mix. Diaz retained much of the staff from defense after his promotion. With the man who practically built this teams' defense up to where it is today now head coaching is this really Blake's defense or is he just a defensive coordinator in-name-only? How much different is a Blake Baker 2019 Hurricanes defense going to look as opposed to a Manny Diaz 2018 Defense?

Shaq with the Tackle!

1st &10 - 5 yard run by their RB
2nd & 5 - TFL on a reverse by Pinck.
3rd & 9 - Pass complete for 12 yards to their TE

1st & 10 - Try to hit us with PA but Ford sacks Franks.
2nd & 16 - RB runs for 10 yards on a draw.
3rd & 6 - Frank's scrambles for 5 but dives early with Shaq looking for blood.

I just hope that Baker has them prepared to sniff out the trick plays that Mullen will undoubtedly turn to if we are dominating the offensive play calling. Those plays amount for many yards and some TDs. It would absolutely suck to get scored on in this manner as opposed to real play calling.

UGA vs ufag was on SEC network last night and I watched a little bit of it. I didn't see the play but the announcers were talking about a flea flicker in the first quarter. It would not surprise me one bit if Mullen calls that **** on the first play of the game.

I hope Baker tests that line by blitzing the **** out of them on that series. Make Franks beat the blitz. Do not let up even if he lucks up and completes a pass or 2. Blitz that line and Franks no matter the result. The numbers prove that Franks will fold against it.

Robert Knowles pick 6.

Nah, here's the scenario. Knowles sack, strip, recover and to the house for TD. Knocks Frankfurter the eff out, taking him out of the game. Kyle Trask takes over and engineers a last second Hail Mary to win the game for the bad guys. CIS hates on Knowles for knocking Franks out of the game and costing us the sure win.

Good info and thought provoking, but I'm not concerned in the least. I think Blake and Manny clearly have similar/same philosophies and the introduction of a new head man in charge of the defense will likely only implement new wrinkles and tweaks that will make us less predictable and take this D to another level. The big question mark for me is if the young safeties come ready out of the box day one, or if we have a couple of slip ups and miscommunications that have the potential to cost us big. Those two safety spots are absolutely critical to our success.

Florida's first play of the game was a flea flicker. Guy was wide open and Franks straight missed him by 5+ yards.
