Predict our tumble in the polls.

I think we need ND to lose. I don’t trust the committee to have a 1 loss Miami over 2 loss ND. Plus we all hate ND.
A one loss Miami with a win over ND will absolutely be ranked ahead of a two loss ND.

Pundits been waiting patiently for this.

They get to replace UM and TT with P2 teams (maybe Notre Dame)....

I say 9 for the Canes, and mid teens for TT

I agree with this. At the same time, GT doesn't have a great win so may be right in front or right behind us
The age old question: do you rank an undefeated team who has played zero ranked opponents over a 1 loss team who has already beaten multiple ranked opponents?

The only rankings that matter are the playoff committee’s, which of course don’t debut this week, but I think they’ve demonstrated the latter.

AP might hang onto the traditional way of thinking, we’ll see. But again, it doesn’t matter. I do think if the playoff rankings debuted this week they’d have miami ahead of GT.

If we have to host a game, we can play at traz cuz "our stadium" will be booked and busy

This is why we have to get out of the ACC if we want to survive. The ACC schedule is all downside and absolutely zero upside. You get punished for losing, absolutely no credit for winning, and because the ACC is so bad you never have a chance to get an impressive win late in the season.

Our OOC schedule is one of the toughest is the country, we lose one ACC game to a 5-1 team and all the sudden there's a legitimate discussion that 11-1 may not be enough to make the playoff. Do you all realize how big of a problem this is?

We're the only ones that think 11-1 doesn't get us in. If we win out we're in the playoffs.

Indiana didn't beat one ranked team last year and got blown out by the only ranked team they played.....missed the BIG 10 CG and still made the playoffs

There’s zero chance we miss the playoff at 11-1.
