First things first: ND is public enemy #1. That’s the priority and the only game that really matters right now.
But once we get through that, the ACC picture starts getting interesting. If Miami beats Duke and gets a little help from a few other ACC matchups, we could actually lock up the ACCCG spot early.
So the short version: ND first, then take care of Duke and start scoreboard watching.
...And if the help doesn’t come, it really doesn’t change much.
The clean path is still there: beat Duke, then beat Virginia Tech, and Miami controls its own destiny. No tiebreaker gymnastics, no waiting on anybody else.
So either we get some help and clinch early, or we just handle Duke and VT ourselves and punch the ticket.
At the end of the day, it’s still the same Miami motto: 1-0 every week. From Charlotte to Vegas.
So this week? Go 1-0 against ND.
Along with going 1-0… Duck the Fomers.
