Peter - It's pretty well known in the coaching world that Randy Shannon wants a head coaching position and the odds if him staying in Gainesville at Florida are not great as he looks to further his career and at Florida his career is limited.

And yet he wasn't interviewed by FIU, FAU, USF, or UCF. ITT tech closed. Maybe brevard community college?

There is an opening at the BOys and Girls club, D'No just took another gig.

Slaton is allegedly a "weird dude" "who hasn't taken the recruitment process very seriously" and "probably doesn't have the grades." I wouldn't be surprised if he committed to Mashed Potato University tomorrow.

He'll say, "Home is where the heart is." Then he'll plop a bowl of mashed potatoes on his head.

It's the only bowl he'll ever play in.

Kids and family are strange. How exactly is Central Michigan closer to home than Miami? I sort of understand Kentucky but even that is a roughly 5 hour drive for the parents. Hillery picking one of those 2 schools over us would be pretty surprising unless he feels like he has not shot here.

I'll be ****ing ecstatic if we split Hendo/Edwards. Despite my cast iron stomach, I'm shook on those two. Edwards is just a straight up idiot if he goes to UF with the way they've recruited him, how aggressive we've been, and his circle pushing Miami.

Makes no sense that Edwards will go to UF when they treated him like **** throughout the whole recruiting cycle, and his whole family visited Miami with him and is pushing him to UM.

People can talk about "dropping bags" all they want, but sometimes it's just a case of a 17 year old making a poor decision.

What's sad is I've been saying doe months to stop blaming the coaching staff all the time and realize many of these kids make idiotic choices. UF hasn't even shown him any respect and everybody is saying choose us because we literally have everything that he'd want. Staff loves him, playing close to home, family can see him, family wants him here Badly, can play and maybe start early and UF has barely even had himas an option yet there will be iidiots who blame Rumph and the staff for this

UF took 5 DB's last year...
UF already has 4 DB's committed this year...
He would be DB #10 and that does not include JR's and SR's...
He is NOT going to see the field next year... but whatever!

Hillery - making final decision tomorrow between UM, Central Michigan, and NC State

Slaton - Mood changes everyday, Miami still recruiting him as a DT (longshot signing day surprise)

Logan - IMO he announces his transfer to Miami tomorrow (Pete hinted at it)

Great with that.. I MUCH rather have Henderson who has a better speed and upside.. I'm telling yall.. Edwards is a poor man Redwine (Redwine had better film).. I like Billy Gibson and Latavious Brini a lot more then Edwards.. Edward had a good 7 on 7 at Florida camp and people going wild for him... I never got the excitement for Edwards.. I think people just love his size and he looks intimidating (I do to).. but (lets admit it) he is slow at CB and will be turned into a safety.. I always see him getting burned by HS WRs but people think this dude the next Sean Taylor or something... Still hoping we pickup Bentavious Thompson (the RB) his Senior year was impressive. Hillery clearly wants to flip but I don't think he has a legit option.. maybe Kentucky would be the most realistic flip if they are even recruiting him actively.. I'm not counting out a Herbert or a Slaton flip.. meaning Herbert to Florida or Slaton to Miami.. something tells me either Miami or Florida is going to get both.

if Herbert flips tomorrow, less than a week after committing, this board might never recover

Kid doesn't understand that his best chance at success is by playing on the offensive side of the ball, but this kid doesn't have the focus to be an elite talent regardless. still wanting to play Basketball and out of position is a head scratcher. There will be some interesting discussions on here in a few years.

I actually think Kool could've done wonders with Slaton at DT. Norton was an OL in HS too.
