I think we all understand that there should be a revisiting of the watch list invitees.

Why they have pre-season award lists is beyond me. What happens if a guy comes in as a freshman, or sophomore and breaks records? Oh, sorry, but you weren't on the pre-season list. Idiocy.
 
Keep it n mind that this award is named after a notorious Nole (despite the fact his brother was our starting QB one year), and that he housed an interception return to beat us one year, so you have to wonder if they have an anti-UM bias. They no doubt have a reverse-bag process, where candidates have to drop bags at the group that sponsors the award. The group is probably middle-aged and older men who have protruding stomachs and they still wear older sportcoats (with no ties) and they can't properly close and button the sportcoats because of the stomach.

You know the type. You think they have any idea about a kid from hardscrabble East St. Louis?
