Taylor is **** near 300 pds..he ain't playing de here.

I'm sure Elijah canside out and handle some de work though.

Did you guys expect Ishmael to be in the 2 deep.or something?. I wasnt expecting him to see the field this year
if Richard Gordon can return kicks and Allen Bailey can play LB, Taylor can play DE. .. just get him on the field.

Angle tackling, I.e. on an outside zone a sweep or down the sideline.
It's a typically drill.
You see the choppy feet which let's then square up based on the ball carrier going north or angle tackle when they go lateral.
Ran in thstsrill and taught that drill.
It's very good for fundamentals to always have eye point and being ahead of the carrier.

Thanks Arehel. Makes sense now that you explained it. I like that it forces defenders to really read the ball carrier, not go flying in and missing the tackle like we see too often in games.

First practice of fall camp for him so not just going to throw him in pads
I think it is against ncaa rules to do so. I Remember when Ford was a tf he was a late enrollee, grades I believe, and he had to do 3 days in shorts. I remember because richt made a comment to an assistant coach saying get Ford out of pads he not allowed to be in them and the assistant said he not that’s his shoulders

Could very well be the case

Believe it or not, it is not a rule. If it is, it’s not be followed by several schools. Kirby had the first practice this spring in pads and proceeded to injure two starters, one of them being Pickens. 😂 He lost his second best one last week. I guess Georgia might be playing some freshman to start the season at wr.

B*tching about Susan is played out.

Nah, we still got a lot in reserve.

If you can get past some of her questions, she seems like a nice lady.

Actually is a rule. First 2 days only helmets, next 2 days can be shells then after that it’s unregulated but there is only a certain amount of practices that can be full pads, also those practices can only be so long and there’s other things.

now this was just changed after may so this might not have been the rule in spring

Not contesting that but you aren’t concerned he could see significant time versus bama?

Maybe it magically clicked for him in the off season.
Do you trust the corches to play the best players?

IF yes, then McCloud is finally in his right seat on the bus or the rest of the DL is that bad.

I think we all want to believe the former.

Probably why he's locked down practice to everyone. No media at all - not for a minute.
