Practise #8

Agreed Brock, I think all 3 QB’s are showing their shine and have had positive review to some extent from Manolo and Enos. It’s going to come down to the wire type of race, one I don’t see settled to Manny’s perfection until Fall camp. And maybe late into it too.

Yeah but he’s only seeing 20 minutes of practices or so like everybody else which isn’t the whole practice so hard to glean who’s doing what outside of the viewing period. And just my opinion it’s asinine to proclaim it’s just between N’Kosi and Jarren right now imo
He didn't say it's just between Kosi & Jarren, he's said it's real QB race going on and the two of them are neck & neck.

Also, read Ivins article today he posted the early Depth chart after the first scrimmage & had Perry as 1 Jarren as 2 & Tate as 3.

You guys are reading into one person's observation looking to discredit because it doesn't say Tate is killing the competition lol.

Both Diaz & Enos already said the race ain't nowhere close to over & will go into the Summer/Fall before a starter is named. All 3 QB's have had their bright spots, as well as their bad days, none of them have won it yet.

He didn't say they were perfect or didn't have anything to improve on, he said they were getting better & have looked the best thus far.

He even said Tate was getting better as well, but still looks uncomfortable in the pocket, which is accurate.

You guys just don't wanna hear anything that doesn't fit with your own narratives & agendas that yall have about the QB competition.

It's a 3 man race & all 3 of them have had their good days & bad days, it won't be over until Fall camp. Just because someone reports what they see & it doesn't align with what you hope happens doesn't make it any less true.
Hit the nail on the head. I’ve been trying to explain that on here, too. You just did a better job of it. This race won’t be over until the 2nd week of August. Even if Enos knows who he wants now, they won’t announce it yet. To add on what you said... They want: to breed a culture of competition, try to keep these knuckleheads out of trouble over summer break, and make sure they have another arm on campus before someone hits the portal.

Nobody is discrediting footballville for not saying Martell Tate has a clear edge. It's just kind of odd that he'd announce Jarren and Kosi as the front runners and leave Tate out.

The title says "My QBs observation from 10 practices" and he did not observe anything Jarren or Kosi need to improve upon?

**** yeah I think Tate wins the job. That doesn't take away from the fact that I'm open to hear anyone's unbiased opinion. This just reads as if he has an agenda. The summary could have been left out and we would know who he thinks are the leaders. Had he gave the positives and negatives of each QB that would have made it more difficult to interpret and a summary would have been necessary.

I guaranteed if footballville would have said Tate and Jarren were neck and neck they wouldn't have said anything 😂😂😂

Naw, as I said Before. It’s too early to anoint anyone regardless who it is. At the end of the day get me the best qb on the field

Thanks for the info. Don’t know why so many bashing the guy. It’s his observation. I don’t agree with it but it is what it is. We will all see this Sat with our own eyes and give our opinions.

Musical chairs along the OL. Thought we might see Scaife and Donaldson solidify the left side.

Left Tackle: Zion Nelson, Jared Griffith (Walk-On)

Left Guard: Zalon'tae Hillery, John Campbell

Center: Navaughn Donaldson, Tommy Kennedy

Right Guard: D.J. Scaife (rSo.), Cleveland Reed

Right Tackle: Kai-Leon Herbert, Zach Dykstra

Injured: Corey Gaynor, George Brown

Breakdown: This group is dealing with some injuries and that has caused a shake up with the depth chart. Starting center Corey Gaynor was held out of action and that means Donaldson is getting reps there now. Early enrollee freshman Zion Nelson is getting the first team reps at left tackle while Kai-Leon Herbert continues to get more looks at right tackle.

Dear Lord help us.

Dude didn’t anoint anyone.. just said in his view Kosi and Jarren are neck and neck w Tate behind but catching up.

If any one of us had the opportunity to see the open portion of practice everyday, we’d do exactly the same. Give our opinion.

But we’ve been hearing consistently that martell Tate has struggled a bit.

That’s fair but the portion the media does get to view is not seeing the whole practice so hard to really make any statements of anyone being neck and neck. Furthermore I like the guy at footballvillenation it’s just my opinion

I'm all for recruiting white OL but in 2019 Miami should go all-black. Our white OL have neither the talent nor the strength needed to form an above average OL, including 6'2 285lb Corey Gaynor. Donaldson looks natural snapping the ball. Go back and watch that clip.
Because our oline has been so dominant the past 15 years. Sick post dude

I keep looking at that depth chart. We really should’ve signed another TE and another RB. I’m not worried about Safety or LB. One look at Brooks or Huff and you know they are ready for 2 deep snaps from day one. Bubba and Keontra are arguably an upgrade over all the safeties on the roster. Hall is the only one on their levels as far as ability. If Zion can come in here and play LT, watch da F out for the center from GA. That boy will be 20lbs bigger, more athletic, and just as strong as Gaynor when he gets here.

After 10 practices why do you think Tate is going to win the job? Have you been to each practice and viewed them fully?

All, I wanna know, El, is how are they performing when pressure is upon them? Who can extend plays while passing accurately. The reason why this is my biggest concern is b/c of our OL problems. Idgaf about how accurate or pretty a throw is when it's all drills. I care about the IQ of our QBs during live rounds. Who proves to possess that skill should be the starter.
