That was actually a truly effective blitz pickup block on a guy (Mccloud) who's solid at rushing the passer. Count me in for getting this kid in there to max protect in a handful of instances.

I want to see him tote the rock a few times

This is the perfect definition to play to the end of the whistle. George held his own until he got slung to the ground. Now if you say he won OK that's your opinion. But I like the guy that knows how to finish.

Naw lol bubba said he’s 6’3 195 today and will probably play next year at 200 or 205. Phillips still got a strong lower build and 6’5 240 or so and will play at 255. He’s got plenty of time to gain weight

Tidbits from today's practice. Caught about 20 minutes by the parking garage. Nothing earth shattering. Defense was nearby so mostly on them.

1 DL: Garvin, Bethel, Ford, Patchan
2 DL: Hill, Miller, Nnoruka, Rousseau
1 LB: Pinckney (multiple INTs), Shaq
2 LB: McCloud, Brooks/Stephenson
Striker: Frierson, Finley
CB: Bandy, Blades, Ivey, not sure on CB4
SS: Carter, no Smith
FS: Hall, Knowles

As far as I could tell most everyone else aside from Harvey was with the scout team defense facing the offense. Saw both Harris and Lingard take scout team reps but not Burns. Payton was with the scout team. Campbell was off to the side working with a trainer.

OL: Nelson, Vaughn, Gaynor, Scaife, Hillery.

Cam was taking practice reps today against shaq in that 1 on 1 drill today. Manny Diaz with joe rose this morning was praising him and he didn’t sound concerned what so ever about that “injury” in the first scrimmage.

Just a note, no practice viewing available for media tomorrow. Like I mentioned earlier, UM is definitely looking to keep things more under wraps as they install the UF gameplan this week

Crazy speed. Last week that footballvillenation guy said he’s seen them all, jeudy, Ridley, cooper etc and he said Jeff Thomas has the fastest get off he’s ever seen
