First day of practice for Louisville week! I believe today is supposed to be a media day (which could mean possible depth chart)

KAYAA NAMED STARTER

Brad Kaaya ‏@TrinidadBrad
Appreciate the support from everyone. Ready to attack week 1 with my brothers! #1Heartbeat

Braxton Berrios ‏@HNYNUT_BERRIOS
It was all a dream...talking from opposite sides of the country, now we are making it happen. So proud of you man @TrinidadBrad #StayTuned

-New in black: Muhammad, Owens, Pierre. New in orange: Edwards.
-Trayone Gray wearing No. 10 in practice. Yeah, I don't think he'll wear that in a game.
-Reason several players are in different numbers: scout team wears opposing team numbers. So, don't think Gray's playing against Louisville.
-Thought the #Canes would go with Jake Heaps. Given that Brad Kaaya lined up with the first team today, I'm not as confident in that.
-Sophomore Gus Edwards surpassed freshman Joe Yearby as Duke Johnson's backup at tailback. Expect all three to play, though.
-James Coley: Kaaya separated himself about 8 days ago. Started getting really comfortable.

Tim Reynolds ‏@ByTimReynolds
-Ryan Williams just threw a bullet of a screen pass. So, you ask? Well, he threw it behind his back. On a line. 30 yards. For a completion.
-Kaaya stretching next to Duke in Row 1. Everyone freak out at once, ok?
-Donna Shalala, her thoughts on where UM is athletically right now, after 'the storm': "Everything just feels good."
-The obsession over starting quarterback astounds me. Miami's season is up to Duke and the defense. This year's QB is a supporting actor.

Christy Chirinos ‏@ChristyChirinos
In orange: Kc McDermott, Isidora, Walford, Dobard, Regula, S. McDermott, Flowers, Feliciano, Johnson, Edwards, Dorsett, Coley.

-Can we stop with the Fentress in a black jersey, please? Nice ST player. Maybe depth. Not a starter. Stop it.
-OH? RT @mattyports Thought the #Canes would go with Heaps. Given that Kaaya lined up with the first team today, I'm not as confident in that

AQM comin!

Wouldn't be suspended if he was in black during game week. Good to see Owens making a move.....need more speed on the field.

Tim Reynolds cannot go fifteen minutes without making some snarky, holier than thou post. I wish that fat ******* would shut the **** up.

#10 on Louisville (who Gray is emulating) is their workhorse starting RB.

I agree. Arrogant attempts at comedy only go so far and Reynolds has gone to the well too many times.

So what name does he post under on here?

ITS HAPPENING

Gray is very raw. I get the love because he is a freak athlete but Yearby is gonna blow everyone away.

I will be fully erect if Kaaya is named the starter.

If its Heaps.....i'll just be praying for a W.

I just don't see Golden naming a starter today. Not saying he won't, but when there's a issue involving a player/position, he usually waits until the ACC mandated depth chart. These media cats get the company line from the player and coach interviews/pressers....and nearly all of the pertinent stuff from lurking on message boards

Good. Gus is what is needed. Big back to pound and tire the defense so Yearby and Duke can do their thing
