Are there new rules in effect this year?

We’ve practices 4 out of 6 days so far with zero days in full pads. Two days off for the first week of fall practice seems like more than usual. Having a day off after a scrimmage to review film or a surprised day at the beach for the entire team after a few grueling weeks is something that has always been part of the preseason. But, 2 days off in week 1 without one day in full pads seems like more than usual and a departure from past seasons under multiple head coaches.

I think in chris stock report he said they had a sunday practice scheduled but no media viewing at all, so 5 practices soo far but monday off.. Im guessing they went full pads today? But who knows.. I know alot more corches are aware of player safety and such across the country so you dont have the lets destroy these guys mentality as much nowadays, think we been starting practice in IPF then take it outside midway thru practice to make sure everyone is good.. Seen a few teams do that looking at practice reports across the country so it seems like something everyone has taken up but the heat this year has been crazy so maybe just a precaution..

2. Our Miami Hurricanes will continue to practiSe their skills at practiCe throughout August.
