Practice #9

I was really hoping for Tate but to be honest as long as it's not Kosi I will be happy. Before people freak my reasoning is that Kosi has never shown himself to be a leader and right now this team needs a leader on offense more than anything else.

Except they actually have an offense. Big difference unfortunately.
Chuck n duck is not considered a offense in common circles. So do the 'turds really have an offense?

Can't tell if we're more afraid to play our guards at RG or just want to maximize Scaife's talent there. If Reed is as dominant as some people thought he'd be you'd think he'd be there and they'd just kick out Scaife by now. Reed didn't test out very athletically at all, I wonder if he has issues with movement and quickness.

247 said he’s been the best second team lineman. I think reed can play it just seems however that they just don’t necessarily like scaife’s frame out at tackle . Reed just happens to be behind our best 2 lineman at the guard spots

I hear you. Maybe the staff has confidence that they can move Scaife back to RT at any time, as he was one of the best in conference last year (According to PFF). Having a real RT and Scaife in his natural position would be best. BTW Thank god this two star from South Carolina has surprised.

I think Manny ran Tate out there at 3rd string in the Early part of practice to throw everyone off..lol...

IDK man this was my concern with Coach Barry. He may be a great technician but as you well know the Bucs made some asinine decisions with the OL starters during his tenure there. Alex Cappa has been "dominant" this training camp yet he rode the pine last year for Caleb Benenoch who's the worst RG I've ever seen. Just an absolute turnstile and Evan Smith was like Hayden Mahoney he just doesn't have the traits to be reliable. There were other issues too like the Kevin Pamphile experiment or Ali Marpet shuffling between all 3 interior positions after getting drafted.

Maybe Barry had nothing to do with these decisions but the track record is there. It's definitely to fair to question whether the best 5 guys are going to be out there.

Hm I was under the impression TB's line was solid last season

My take is this UF team has an offense that is better than ours in 2018, specials that aren't close because no team was worse than ours in 2018 and defense may be a wash as we were not good in the LSU game. That said I hope I'm wrong but I doubt UF will put up a performance as bad as ours game 1 last year. It was nauseating.
Dude, you are missing his point. He is comparing Florida's offense last year to our offense in 2017. He is saying that their offense will take a turn for the worse in 2019 as ours did last year. It's called a false hope. Malik was masked incredibly in 2017 as was Franks in 2018 (Last year). Teams will key in on this dude (Us included) and beat his %^&.

Gainesville wins 8 games at the MOST.

Yeah. I get it. I get the similarities. My point is only relating to this game. I don't think UFs offense is good. I just think our offense was worse. Add to that our awesome punting and that made for a blowout. I think we win, I just don't see a blowout.

I remember the Highschool All star game(UA/AA ) Cleveland Reed and Scaife were dominating their side of the ball. I'm hoping that it happens this year, it seemed they had good chemistry then.
