Practice #7

He is not 240... Stop it... lets see when the next set of official #'s come out.
He’s listed at 240. No doubt he’s put on some weight since Jan but how much? There’s no way he’s 290 which is the smallest a LT should be playing for a power 5 school. OT is a major concern and there’s no way to sugar coat it.

Demetrius Summers too. From Lexington. Some recruiting sites had him over Bush iirc.
Anyways, spurrier booted him for weed (maybe other stuff) and I think he has a criminal record now.

Point is we may have found a diamond in Zion Nelson.

Even if we plan to RS, and even if our depth isn’t great, him getting reps with 1’s is individually promising.
my gma lives on the border of greer and spartanburg and byrnes was close to her house so i would go watch marcus when i was young. sc always produces diamons in the rough idk y theyre still so underrated

Pics...or she banged you with one of her Uncles cucumbers...
You dudes live in the social media world, it was 1972, sorry I wasn’t carrying a ***king Polaroid camera with me at the time, Christ the world didn’t start yesterday, and don’t knock cucumbers unless you’ve tried it, tastey.

Did he have to play as a freshman too? I remember them recently having to play a freshman who was really small at left tackle.
He played as a backup LT. He played in 10 games. He was 260lbs coming out of high school According to 247. Interestingly, he benches between 600 to 700 lbs.

Depends...Did OBJ stay in the slot or motion to the outside receiver?

bruh..... we are talking two different things... I understand wherever the **** you are from they may count from right to left or left to right as WR 1, 2, and 3.... in FL I know they refer to them as X, Y, and Z.... I am not talking about that, I am talking your best WR as number 1 WR, a team has a true go-to all star WR, first choice of a WR.... OBJ was my example on the Giants, I believe JT is our number 1 WR regardless of where the **** he lines up. If all a team has to do is motion him to the slot, or initially line him up in the slot and you would have a safety/LB hybrid covering him that is an issue....

It was a joke. I understand what you are saying, but i guess my attempt at humor with my reply wasn't a good attempt.

Obviously Nelson at starting LT is the biggest thing I took from this.... is the rest of the o-line/backups really just that awful? Is Nelson a true diamond in the rough? Or perhaps just doing everything right and giving him a shot against our dline and seeing how he does.

Also, unless it was 1-on-1, why is Frieson covering thomas??? If our striker is potentially lining up on the opposing teams number 1/fastest WR I dont see that making much sense....
Not sure if your question was answered but its because Jeff Thomas at times lines up in the slot. Frierson is a striker and strikers cover slots.
