Practice #6

We got some dogs on D man.. If D.Smith has taken the next step, that means our back end will look like this against spread team

CB- Bandy
CB - Ivey/Blades
FS- Hall
SS - D.Smith
MLB - Shaq
WLB- Pinckney
SRK- Finley

With the depth we have on DL, this D can be scary good! Fat Al wasnt good for much but one thing he said that stuck with me was THE U will be THE U again when we stop depending on freshman to show up and save the day. This group is as experienced (and athletic) as we've had in a long time.
Not enough speed on the back end IMO

He was a technician at Purdue. Dont think he had the athletic ability to make it in the league but he ran some great routes at Purdue. Definitely not a slouch
You're exactly right about the pro's. A year or so with the Carolina Panthers and a few in the CFL iirc. Technique, route running, consistency regardless of quality of opponent, and a whole lotta grit and determination. The fewest balls he caught in a season at Purdue was 73 as a Frosh, caught 89 as a senior.

No way Wiggins hit 22.5, those sensors need to be re-calibrated or something. Tyreek Hill runs close to that speed.
Probably wasnt in full pads. I dont know if you noticed but guys were getting 20mph on the regular when camp first started but when the pads came on there arent as many occasions. Tyreek Hill ran 22.78 mph on a kickoff but in full pads

He played for the 49ers for a bit as well

Just a few notes from the eyes at practice. Some had concerns about how much of the playbook is being installed!!

As we get further into camp, you can see that Miami is starting to dive deeper into their offensive planning. Today, I saw shifts and formations that I had not seen before. Both Will Mallory and Brevin Jordan were lined up next to each other and motioned at the same time while Brian Hightower motioned in from the outside. It was a very unique formation.

And Dan Enos isn't allowing the complexity of this new offense to slow them down. He was on top of his offense and his coaches hard today. Freshman TE Larry Hodges was a bit out of position and you heard Enos yell, “Is anybody going to coach this guy!”
The standards of excellence are expected to be met, as all the quarterbacks said yesterday. They are expected to be perfect, or as close to it as possible.

Enos is stopping at nothing to improve this offense to be excellent!!

I'm really expecting big things from this offense. Way too much weaponry for this team to not move the pill at will. We should put up 30 points a game. I expect to see guys like Kosi, Hightower and Pope make huge strides in a real offense.

If Enos does his job, we should light it up which will give our defense some breathing room and not have to play with their backs against the wall. They can just tee off on opponents knowing we can score almost at will.

I hate to say the season rests on one man's shoulders, but in actuality it does. Get the offense right, and we are fvckin!

35 points/game on the year
30 points/conference game

That would be pretty good improvement year 1, especially if it was consistent and not skewed because of one good night.

Time to move Carter to WLB behind Pinckney.

I imagined Carter playing this type role in multiple safety sets in passing situations.

Get him close to the line and be able to threaten the opposing qb and have less daunting coverage assignments.

And then he beat up the mascot.

He’s not Coach Macho says we suck at that. Lol
So Manny doesn’t eat the asses of a bunch of pimps from Deerfield who are always selling their best players to the SEC? I applaud him for that.

These HS coaches down here think they’re stars and that Manny needs to genuflect to them.

Then they let scumbags like Urban Meyer lie to their kids yet they suck his dyck when he comes back to their schools after he lies to their kids. They suck Sabag’s dyck too. Bunch of star fcker groupies.

They always hold UM coaches to a higher standard than outsider liars because UM coaches aren’t greasing them up with emoluments.
