Nothing but drama around this program, it’s a **** soap opera. Can’t we just fire Manny already, put in an intern head coach, try to get some stability and look towards the future. I don’t ever remember things being so bleak, even in Golden and Randy’s last days.

Self inflicted wounds from the administration at this point. They had the answer they needed to mitigate damages after Michigan state. Time to reap what Flake has sown.

I mean just missing practice alone I do not think is cancerous. If they know they are not going to play, basically told their boys behind closed doors they just wanted to finish out and get their degree and were "quitting" football and support the younger guys I do not see that as a cancer.

Could it be cancerous? of course. But I find it odd that the school or Manny would be fine with a player missing practice, not showing up to games, and still be on the team without some type of latent understanding between parties.

Agreed, but the fact that we have to question it says a lot about the state of the program under Diaz.

Sure but doubt thats their top priority and have a hard time believing they are not any type of a locker room distraction or cancer (maybe im totally wrong). Otherwise could try to transfer to a Vanderbilt/UVA/Duke type program (if they have the grades). Get a better degree and maybe some playing time too? Maybe thats a pipedream for them at this point...

Was surprised 6 and 8 stuck around honestly. Would suck if the staff alluded to them being in the plans as the reason. Yes they can't catch a cold, but at least give them the shot for a fresh start somewhere else. Could have been we hedged our bets because we didn't know how the freshmen would look and Wiggins still got chances and still can't catch so it's hard to have too much sympathy.
