Potential WR coaches if Dugans does leave?

Dugans isn't leaving to go to Free Shoes...Lmao...he loves Coach Richt and the Christian environment that is currently established at the U. I'm sure we will offer him some type of raise, but why go to Free shoes with an unproven coach in Taggert (Yes, I know Dugans played for fsu)...I don't care, I don't care, I DONT CARE what Taggert did at USF...USF is not big time football. Oregon for that matter isn't big time football anymore.

As somebody said earlier, Troy Walters from UCF would be good.
- Helped Scott Frost transform that UCF program from 0-12 to 12-0
- Interim Head Coach at UCF.
- Was in contention for the Head Coaching job before they gave it to Heupel.
- Finalist this year's Broyles Award (top assistant in college football)
- In 99, as a WR at Stanford, he was a consensus 1st Team All American & the Biletnikoff Award winner (most outstanding receiver in college football)
- 7 year NFL vet as a WR
- Was at UCF so he knows the Florida recruiting landscape
- Being at UCF might mean he might not cost as much, although the Broyles Award finalist recognition might have sent his $tock up $o to $peak.
- Being at Miami would be great for him as well, getting to work with better WRs than he has at any of his stops prior to this.

I think he'd do a good job here. Although I'd prefer to keep Dugans of course.

The OP asked a serious question and some of you guys throw out your favorite past UM receiver regardless whether they ever coached a down. To me Lamar Thomas should be looked at . He threw his hat in the ring twice before and was told he needed a resume. He did just that and now is an experienced college coach. I have no idea of how he is perceived as a coach. Kevin Beard was liked by this board when he was here but Richt liked Dugans better. Certainly he has a resume.

I think Dugan's daughter is a freshman at the "U" and I don't see him bolting because of that relationship...If he does two names that would be quality coaches are Reggie Wayne or Andre Johnson---both Hall of Fame NFL careers/.;/;.

Why would he leave? Plus I would think of all our units, WR coach is the easiest to fill here?

Walters is an OC and a Broyles finalist. He commands other OC opportunities, not as a position coach. Would be a step down for him.

Bring back Kevin Beard - may not be retained with new Coach at Tennessee
Ok, so you’ve now seen what a real receivers coach can bring (from emphasizing blocking to recruiting) and now you want to bring back the guy before him that did none of that? Why, just because he’s a Cane?

ridiculous
