How would you (or anyone) rank who you’d want If the only options that entered the portal were:
- Mestemaker
- Rocco Becht
- Sellers
- Leavitt
- Sorsby
- Demond Williams
- Mensah
- CJ Bailey
- Josh Hoover

We could do a lot worse and I like his athleticism but he IS NOT an accurate passer. 60% in the modern game is below average. We would have to use him like Oklahoma uses John Mateer with a heavy emphasis on his running ability. Clayton Tune, who Dawson had at Houston would be a good comp.

Skattebo winning? Last time I saw an "athlete" in that lame Rags Retro Sweater in Madison Square Mosque, they were getting their @sZ beat by the Isles 5-0.

Last time I checked he led his team to playoffs and should have beat texas

Not sure what sport you are watching but the dude is good and I’m betting he’s in NFL after college

The Cal kid is not entering the portal, especially if someone like Tosh Lapoi gets the job.

Start brainstorming more realistic options:

Sorsby — intriguing
Leavitt — if healthy, this would be my pick
Sellers — yuck
Bailey — meh, plan c option?

Tosh Lupoi is ethnically Polynesian? Please show me a link. I don't think he is.

Mario recruits Polynesian players all the time. And all races. Cam Ward and Carson Beck. I dont think race matters here. Other factors like offensive weapons, OLine protection, QB development, program resources are much more important. Cal is rebuilding, Cal athletic department is in debt and taxes in that state are much higher than Florida. Not worried about Lupoi. If Cal was hiring a QB guy like Ken Dorsey, Jon Gruden or Jedd Fisch there might be a problem. But that seems unlikely.
