Bell is gone we gotta kill that talk. Cantwell is starting next year with McCoy and okunlola I do think we take a transfer center or Buchanan gets looks at that spot

Kinsler is a key. Not sure how he’s trending but he has a big NIL despite the fact he was a 3 star. It’s put up or shut up time for him. If bell returns:

Bell
McCoy/samson
Portal/RRod
Samson/mccoy
Cantwell

Kinsler would be in the top 7 rotation to start the following year.

It gets interesting if bell leaves. If he does, L-R:

Portal LT
Samson
Portal C/RRod
Kinsler?
Cantwell

Cantwell will not start at LT. he’s a RT to start.

Bell by most is not considered a top 100 pick yet, and has been leaning towards coming back for a few weeks now.
 
One of the reasons we see so much uncertainty along the oline next season is because we have been unbelievably healthy over the last 2-3 seasons. Cooper and Cici have played every game the last three seasons, Bell hasn’t missed since getting into the lineup, the Cs we brought in played almost all the snpas. OL healthy has actually been remarkable.

You watch Bell interview from open media day and he is itching to leave, he is hoping the playoff run puts him on map, he has not decided yet and looks like he does not want to come back honestly.. We have to be prepared for that

I have seen some speculation that McCoy might be better at Tackle. Personally IDK, but it has been mentioned. Rodriguez is listed as Redshirt Senior on the official roster, don’t think he is coming back.

Plus the younger guys
Nino
Wilkerson
Minaya
Plaza

SJ (idk if sticks around)

If McCoy can’t play Tackle, then a LT is needed and that will be expensive. If he can then we can just add a IOL along with a starting C.

Why would McCoy not be a starter if bell leaves. Also if Bell leaves I’d heavily bet Cantwell is LT

If Bell returns I’d guess Kinsler portal to A&M joining his brother to start

I forgot to have McCoy in my second possible scenario. You’re right- Samson, mccoy and Cantwell will start.

@FromDeeeeep there have been multiple reports on here that RRod has one more year despite what the official roster says. I guess tbd.

Of the young guys, we’ll see what buchanon, and minaya can do. I don’t expect much out of nino or SJ. Campbell and Wilkerson are intriguing but I think there’s potential. Would love to see one of these guys (as well as Kinsler) emerge. We’ll need 1-2 portal OL imo

Rodriguez been here 5 years but sure he could get a medical for 2025, just weird not announced and walked senior night

I have been saying for a while Rodrigues has another year. All he has had to do is apply for medical redshirts.

In fact this year He should actually be a 5th yr RS SO by eligibility.

2025 he used a yr
2024 he played 1 game then suffered season ending injury - so again could be a medical redshirt.
2023 he used a yr
2022 he didn’t play in a single game because recovering from injury - so this Should absolutely be a Medical redshirt.
2021 he played in 1 game so he gets a regular redshirt

So he used 1 regular redshirt, played 2 years, and should be able to get 2 medical redshirts.

So… should have another 2 yrs imo, but at minimum 1.
