He's not in the Portal yet, but I think Keaton Thomas would do very well here if we could tamper to get him to leave Baylor. Although, I doubt he would.

What’s your thoughts about that Cal Linebacker #0 he played TUFF that game but was crying towards the end of the game based on how we won I guessed …The saying goes can’t beat us just join us

Never followed him after game, but probably best defensive player on the field that night.

I know their is a lot going on with us and the portal when it appears nothing is happening. Both ways that is. We have done well retaining players so far. I guess we aren't going to pursue LB Simpson. I haven't heard anything at LB, other than him. I have to assume someone is on the hook or atleast nibbling if we aren't going after Simpson, now.

I’d be surprised if we bring ina LB at this point. we’re going to run a lot of 4-2-5 and I’m guessing they expect a lot of Wes/PoPo and the other guys can be serviceable depth pieces unless a real game changer comes available. But with limited resources I do think S and DT are bigger questions on defense right now. And WR on offense has no depth

Our resources aren’t limited, I don’t know where you heard that but you’re wrong.

My read of the tea leaves is that there just isn't anyone in the portal who will move the needle. If that continues to be the case, the smart move is ride with the talent you've got. I hope we find a proved Mike as much as anyone, but you can't just make a wish and click your heels together three times to make it happen. Bringing on "depth guys" who are not much better than our own backups is not a good use of resources IMO, plus they take away important development reps from recent HS recruits..
