Potential Portal DB’s (CB’s & S’s only)

Absolutely.

He played really well against Texas, Texas ST, UAB & Auburn.

He's a big bodied Box/Rover Safety that does a good job in run support. Physically he's built like a LB, but has enough fluidity to play Deep Third coverage Shells, as well as lineup in Nickel.

He wouldn't be a starter per se if we land AJ Haulcy, but as the backup in the 2-deep at Strong & having the versatility to play Nickel would make him a valuable depth add.

(That's what depth looks like btw, not adding a JAG, but a capable backup who can rotate & fill in schematically when necessary)

And just for the sake of having another Louisiana kid in the Secondary in order to help Jaboree not feel homesick or isolated couldn't hurt either.
