Potential incoming ol transfer

This kid is a headcase for those that didn't know about him in recruiting. This has tate forcier written all over it should we accept him to come here. I think we can do better than a lazy kid who ran at the first sign of having to work for a starting spot.

im surprised he didnt go to OSU
He didn't have an OSU offer.

His older brother played OT at VTech. Didn't last 4 years. Thiskid's dad is over involved and I know the other brother didn't love football. Played football with his bro in HS. He was soft as cotton, but a physical specimen who ended up an AA. Not sure how this one is wired, but allegedly Florida only was taking him under Muschamp because he was a strong recruiter for the class. Maybe he's developed more at LSU to crack the two deep.

So his brother wouldn't happen to be Texans OT Duane Brown would it???

His brother is Aaron Brown, ended up being a bust in college sucked at pass rush blocking.

Oh I thought you meant AA in college, not hs

This is kinda where I'm at. Bring him in - God knows we need some kind of depth. If he's a headcase or just bad, let him fade himself into obscurity.

Agree. Dont see how this is a bad move here. Maybe I missed something. We could use all the quality OL depth we can get. And if LSU wanted him at one point, then he has some raw skills. Just sounds like we have to get that dog out of him.

Go Canes

im surprised he didnt go to OSU

I'm not; 3 of the 5 No. 1s in O$Ucks depth chart are out of state. I laugh at $ucknuts talking about how great Ohio is for players and Ego Meyer brings in out of state talent en masse.

Shall I remind you of the last Cincy OL the 'Canes started:

Saw him totally get manhandled in his "homecoming" game at Cincy last year. Winton Woods? Worse than Moeller, mostly good but not great and the competion level would make Coach Macho's mouth water...

I think these photos are much more representative of Alex Gall in terms of his on field play.View attachment 37684

Whatever happened to these jerseys? They look stitched and no feathers it seems.

I could see your point the Dad use I , a lot more than we to discuss his sons choice of colleges.

Thanks Brock. Good work.
Also, any other supplemental info by others is always appreciated.

11 days.
GO CANES.

What kind of eligibility would he have? He already used a redshirt, so if he sits out another season to transfer, that gives him two years to play?

You'd think so, yet our OL depth is abysmal.

He may not pan out, but at least he has D1 talent, which is more than we can say for Knighton, Loftus, and a couple others.

Don't want. Don't like OL who are so flaky and quit so quickly like he did. Circus recruitment. Quit after a year at LSU. Rumors of entitlement and softness. No thanks.
