man was I fooled by the first few games of that 2009 team.

The last time we beat FSU I was 16, Final Destination 4 was the #1 movie in the country, and, "I Gotta Feeling," by the Black Eyed Peas was the #1 song in the country. Patrick Swayze was still alive and Vine was still three years away from existing (-3).
 
Watching that stupid FSU WR drop that TD with time running off the clock really made my day...and then the next 5 years happened

For me it was just recently, as one of the athletes that personifies the pillar-process was awarded the Weaver-James-Corrigan award, something ZERO FSU football players can claim.

Jimbo happened...and then Golden happened. A top 5 coach nationally vs a coach with a losing record in his career.

The last 5 years were actually pretty predictable..
