I don't disagree. I was at 41-8, made the trip down from Maryland. Coming off of that win I truly believed we were back. Then Pitt, Clemson, Wisky and LSU happened. As much as I wanted CMR to be the one to put us back on top, this season it became evident the game had passed him by. He was stubborn to a severe fault, which was ultimately his downfall. Never should have hired his kid on staff.I’m sad. I hate that things turned out like they have for him & the program.

I respect him for what he did for the program, and for stepping down like a man. But JFC I was elated when the news broke.
I don't think he was given much of a choice...
If he could have put aside his ego, he could have done what Coach JJ told him... hire a good offensive staff and be a CEO overseeing the program... instead just like Folden, wouldn't do the right thing...
