Hi, I'm MinnesotaCane and I'm a recovering Golden-holic. I guess you could say it look be so long to realize he was garbage because I may be border line retarded. Jerry Kill took a bunch of 2 and 3 stars at MN and beat Nebraska in Lincoln yesterday. Why? Because he stacked the ******* box and took away the run. I can't keep crying myself to sleep every Saturday night.
 
Tonight????? Why would anyone have waited until now to give up on him? Plain as day he can't cut it here last season.

my name is canealmighty and still have AG nuts stuck in my mouth. I suck them so much that mouth has turned into a permanent donut hole. I have this talent of being able to dislocate my jaw so I can fit AG and coach No d both in my mouth at once and sometimes I have been able to fit Shalala strap on too.
 
I give up on the staff as it's structured today. Whether Golden is fired or not, don't know but replacements have to take place. I would start with D'Onofrio and bring in a Veteran DL coach or ex-HC that is a D guy, i.e. Muschamp, London. The Defense needs a complete beauty Queen makeover as we can not continue to put lipstick on a PIG!

UVA is consistently a bad team and we've lost to them 3 out of 4 years under Al Golden.

Like many of the teams we've lost to throughout the Golden era, we've out-recruited UVA during this tenure.

These losses weren't on talent, they were on coaching.

1. The Cloud- Big reason! Hurt recruiting big time and our rivals neg recruited us to the ground. Thanks Duke for coming to the "U", only reason I watch the games now.
2. Golden is a good speaker- He had me fooled, I had trust in him but getting waxed by crap teams year in and year out is unacceptable. He sounds competent but the product on the field is ridiculously garbage.
3. There was finally improvement the last 4 games, something we've never seen under Golden. It seemed to coincide with our emergence from under the cloud.
4. We seem to have good athletes and can compete.

then reality hit:
1. Our kids are soft as ****. A reflection of the coach. These kids need coaches that have our kids mentally prepared to compete at the highest level every **** game. Accountability starts at the top. You see how we can play when we are ready ( against FSU) , you also see how we play when we are not. ( UVA)We are not ready to play too often. If things go south we crumble like a house of cards. Embarrassing.
2. Hate the defensive scheme. We don't have the players for it. We probably don't have the players for 4-3 either but at least we could stop the run better.

4. Can't take the pain anymore. It's like my heart is being ripped out every Saturday. Time to move on and swallow our pride and pay up for a good coach. Golden is not the answer.

This.... The people who supported golden just don't understand football. They definitely don't understand Miami football and what it takes to be successful there.

I have been on blogs blasting golden and donofrio since year one. First red flag? Changing the defense. Where the **** is Miami going to recruit 3-4 style players. Recruiting base breeds 4-3/ 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 or even 1-5-5. So that alone told me he would never win here. 2nd red flag? The motherfugga has a 300 page binder for success.......WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS!!! Wtf, who would let a mechanic put in an engine if he never worked on a car before? People were conned by Goldens coach speak, his false advocation for former players and his white skin. Simple as that and foolish as fugg.

Don't confuse being a people pleaser for loyalty. He's soft. That's why he can't make the tough decisions. He's too focused on being accepted and being all things to all people to do what it takes to win.

No one who was crowning Golden last week better say ****.... It was Dobards fumble fault remember? Next season Golden is beating FSU and winnjng the ACC! He proved it last week so dont stop being retarded now.

lol, you guys are so worked up over this ****, that you think you're experts, you don't know **** either. Are you a ******* head coach anywhere? Yeah that's right, mouth breather. Sometimes things don't work out, just because you spew reasons why we suck doesn't mean there's an actual correlation. Don't mean ****. Yeah, we suck now, can you fix it? **** you, you know you can't, you're just as much in the dark as the rest of us. We need a better coach? Yes. Our team was gutted when Shannon left and THEN Shapiro hit. We were almost flat-lined as a program. Grow the **** up. All you idiots who think you know football are such whining *******.

I want the UM to be relevant again. I live and die with the team, why the **** are you attacking other UM fans. I swear you guys are closet Gaytors. Entitlement is a hellavu drug I'll tell you that. We are on the same side of the fence right? Even now, you guys are overrating our talent. We've improved our talent this year but we are still depleted. Can't you tell Genius? We can't put any pressure when we rush 4 why? Why genius? Unless we blitz 6-7 we get no rush? I wonder why. . .there are no studs there.

Yeah, we should beat teams like UVa, that's why I think we need to look elsewhere, but stop pretending that we have a stacked team because I've watched a lot of football in my life ( and played) and these players are not up to par. They don't have the size, the motor, the ferocity, the spine from what came before them. They don't. Reality , deal with it. It's a coach and player problem and not just coaches. That's why it's been hard to evaluate whether Golden should be released. Does he suck as a coach or do our players suck ( not Golden's fault because of Sanctions)? We won't know for a while but my guess would be that it's somewhere in the middle. That still means Golden is not a good enough coach for the UM. That's why today it changed my mind. Get it.

All I could see in this post is.... " i don't want to eat crow like a man after defending golden tooth and nail" miss me with the bullshid. You don't know football. Just admit that simply and you'd be left alone. Instead you typed 3 paragraphs and a dissertation as to why you had faith in golden and none of it had ANYTHING to do with the real problem which is game day coaching and schematics.

I'm not a coach cuz I don't want to be....... Not because I can't be. Same can be said for millions of people. Football isn't rocket science if you've played it and have taken the time to understand it. That's why guys like jedd fisch ,who've never played, can be football coaches. You can literally read on the **** Internet everything you need to know.

Outside of that.... I can criticize whatever the **** I pay for. I pay to go to games, buy memorabilia, and I donate to the athletic department.

Just quit posting because you make yourself look stupid as **** with this post.
