There are no fundamentals or stability. He's clearly over his head. I can't even get enthused thinking of next year. I'm honestly, for the first time, more excited by the basketball program. Larranaga is not only the face of the Bball program, but I think he becomes the face of the U starting this year and for the forseeable future.

i hadn't fully given up but i have now. it's time to go Golden i appreciate how you handled you the NCAA investigation. but you simply aren't a good game day coach

Butch at least did something good at the end, although he didn't stick around to see the fruits of his recruiting in 2001. Now, I don't know who we'd get to replace Golden. I think money would be an issue, I don't think it would happen while the presidency of the school is in transition, and a lot of good coaches might not want this position, despite the attractiveness of south Florida talent and the weather.

The fanbase comment is bull****. Go look at the UF boards last week and it will look the same as ours. Our fan base won't accept mediocrity as we shouldn't.
