Post-season tix and prices for all (possible) games

Crazy I thought about trying to go until I saw the tix prices
This is the norm for big time games nowadays. Prices won’t get any cheaper in the future years. Considering the fact we haven’t played meaningful postseason football in forever, I say go for it if you the funds.

For the championship game, the "most expensive tickets" that are offered are the ones where I sit, which are definitely NOT the most expensive within the stadium.

Soooo..."home side" is not available to us. Nor are the suites.

I checked yesterday, it’s $2200 minimum right now just to sit in the 300s at hard rock

No idea where you all have found tickets, i've gone to every hurricane site and only offered a shot to purchase season tickets for next season lol

I booked a Fairfield 40 minutes away in the middle of nowhere 😂😂😂.

Half way between Houston and College Station for $126 a night 🤷🏻‍♂️
Waller, TX? I'll be there as well on Friday night. Staying in Houston Saturday through Monday.

I looked up restaurants in Waller and the #1 restaurant according to TripAdvisor is Buc-ee's. 🙌

Can someone point me to where you can apply for tickets through um?
You are going to have a very tough time getting access to the allocations if you haven’t been a season ticket holder or donor with points for these maybe more chance actually for the other rounds than the ATM game because of the limited allocation

Yeah - I can cancel up until 12/17 but I might I have to change it depending what airport I fly into. I didn’t expect Houston flights to be so expensive.

Respectfully, consider Austin. That's what I did 2 years ago. I love the Austin airport.

MJ is NOT wrong. NASCAR is the only major sports entity that has not ever had a work stoppage. BUT, there is also not a union or insurance. Until recently, the "answer" was that NASCAR shared SOOOOO much of the revenue. NASCAR retained only 10% of the TV money and shared 90% with the tracks and teams.

But now that NASCAR revenue is down, 90% of a smaller number is still....a smaller number.

NASCAR should have done more with the "insurance" issue decades ago. I have mixed feelings about a union, I do believe it could be a positive force on safety and competitive issues, on a par with the NFLPA, but I understand why people hesitate to embrace a union's role in compensatory issues. The reality is that there a lot fewer NASCAR drivers than, say, NFL players, so the drivers already have disproportionate power. Or at least the top 15 or 20 drivers do.

My overall opinion is that NASCAR usually tries to control everything until someone says "no" to them, and while MJ and Denny said no to this "charter" issue, most of the long-time team owners did not. But I actually think MJ/Denny are right about a lot of things.

And it doesn't help that NASCAR and ISC (owned 12 racetracks) merged a few years ago, and now the "sport" (NASCAR) owns a fairly healthy percentage of all the stock-car tracks IN THE SAME BUSINESS ENTITY. And it also doesn't help that NASCAR is essentially owned by 2 people.

I looked at Austin (only American so far) and it was double the price on American than DFW or Houston.

I’ll keep checking on other carriers. Let’s touch base once it’s all determined.
