I live in HTX. It’s only an hour and 20 mins from here. Austin is about 1.5 hours but a much nicer place to spend a weekend.

houston. It's about 90 min from Houston to drive

Try to stay as close to the stadium as you can. There are plenty of hotels. Check the major brand hotels first.

The stadium is pretty far back from the main road - we found it easier to walk from the main street than take UBER all the way back.

I went to A&M when the Canes played a couple of years ago. Was great. The whole military aspect was really wild.....
