CMR is the only reason we stand where we stand today. he recruited well, gave his own money to help build the indoor facility, and gave the program life after It looked like we were done. Things turned when he came - Diaz built on that fo su. Respect for CMR.

For the rest of my days, I’ll have the utmost respect for Coach Richt. He certainly didn’t have the results on the field that he, or us fans, had hoped for. But what he accomplished off the field will have lasting impacts on the football program for years to come.

Not only did Richt recruit those immature quarterbacks, he put his son in charge of coaching them. I appreciate Coach Richt’s efforts and his generosity but I still have the remorse for “what could have been”. Imagine if he had hired an actual offensive coordinator like Rhett Lashlee? We could be competing for playoff appearances now. Although I guess his diagnosis would have just crushed that dream anyway.
