POST PRACTISE VIDS #2

Having a hard time trying to think of someone we had recently in the mold of Brashard Smith. We have had some 5’10 slot guys but they were 170 pounds and not built like him. They didn’t have the giddy up to house it from 99 either. No way we keep him off the field.

I love watching physical receivers and brashard is a bull in a China shop. Once he earns his regular reps I don't see him coming off the field.

Likens is definitely making an emphasis on looking the ball into your hands. Every WR is doing it.
As they should. If Miami can cut the drops significantly, that's points on the board. Means Likens is emphasizing the fundamentals, and that's what wins games. I hope he is also big on the blocking, which is one of the things that Dugans did well.

that is a nice comp. KDub had thick lower legs despite his frame. I see BSmith in the same mold.
People underestimate how much tackle breaking is involved kick returns. Hester and Williams both broke tackles with their lower body strength. In his highlights Smith has that same ability. And he’ll only get stronger in a college strength program.

Like Lashlee's no nonsense style. "We were OK last year." But would have liked a question about O-line as a position group. I realize there's lots to cover, but right after King's Knee (That Manny answered in depth yesterday), that's the very next priority on how the engine is going to run this season.

A great question would have been, "Do you feel the O-line has progressed enough and has the depth needed to run a fast paced offense consistently?"

He was my favorite recruit in this class. I saw a side by side video of him and Alabama’s Christian Leary and those two are almost IDENTICAL!! I assume Leary will be Alabama’s best WR by next year.
