Sounds like this team is beaten. If you aren't ****ed off and ready to fight after dropping 2 in a row I'm not sure what will motivate you.
 
I know why they are beaten down, because they don’t believe in the system and the choice at QB.

Our OL is immediately at a disadvantage simply by how we hike the ball, this screws up every play we run

Our playcalling is so predictable, Richt mixes in a slant, it works, and he goes to the well too many times

Our QB play (Rosier) is so bad our WRs are ****ed

Our RBs are ****ed cause it’s either a dive (see above regarding OL) or an RPO or zone stretch play with our OL blocking laterally and getting blown up

What hurts me more this time around vs Golden is Richt is getting paid a lot more and the talent on this team is a lot better, top to bottom. LSU and FSU were 50/50 games, but every other game on our schedule should’ve been a 10+ point win, including VaTech.

I dont think you need any connection to assume there is tension in the locker room. We were a preseason top 10 with everyone wondering who on our schedule could come close to beating us. Now we are 5-3 losing back to back games with an offense that cant score more than 14 points against mid to low level defenses. Some guys are clearly busting their *** while other keep making the same mistake.

Most of the team or younger cats believe in Williams and believe he’s the best. Think some of the kids not playing think they are better than some of the starters and should be getting more burn. This is what I’ve heard (just rumors), but you see Malik in games and he does worse in practice so you can only imagine what kids think. Also hear a few of the coaches (1 or 2) the players don’t vibe with. Also think some of the players I think get in dog house to quickly for receive mix messages from staff.

They all love Coach Richt and believe he should be the leader of team, but when you have a dog in the fight and you (personally) are looking bad because of some decisions he’s making I’d be mad also and not truely understand why he’s making these decisions, and the simple answer of I’m the Coach or coaching staff and it’s what we decided isn’t going to play with kids that have an opinion these days.

I will say it was real unsettling today to see Coach Brown pretty much indirectly say there are kids on the team he feels create a cancerous atmosphere. This isn’t going to motivate these kids he’s speaking of, I think you handle this in house, anytime kids are blamed (even if it’s there fault) it’s a terrible look this isn’t the pros. I think by doing this it can mess with recruiting and social media has brought a whole other dynamic to the situation, it’s not like it used to be. Not sure who he’s speaking of but my guess is it would be the younger guys Richt brought in to change our talent level and it sounds like a bunch of old men not knowing how to deal with kids these days.

I also think a few of the coaches who maybe don’t have a long term tie to the staff may not speak up enough not knowing consequences

I’ll add this isn’t like we have a bunch of Golden kids Richt doesn’t want they are speaking about, I have a feeling the cancerous comment was directed at kids he recruited.
