Don't want to doubt coach, yet. Maybe improvements in the offensive personnel might make a difference.

Its not about doubting Coach.

I've always said I think he's the right man for us ....but everyone has areas that they can improve upon.

In CMR's case, play calling is one area I feel he can definitely improve upon.

I'm sure he feels the same way and will seek to improve.

CMR has proven time after time that he can adjust. It's one of his better qualities

I hear you man. The guys been a Blessing.

Man the culture has completed shifted, and I'm loving it right now. We went from listening Coach Doritos throw players under the bus to Hearing coaches speak about the standard at the U and having more players lead. Between Coach Brown and DJ's interview, I almost had to drop that one tear down the side of my cheek lol. It's been a while since I felt this good going into Spring. **** got me nervous for feeling this positive!

Culture AND talent have shifted!

Last year I hoped we would win 10 games. This year I know **** well we better win 10 games at a minimum. Haven’t had that confident feeling in a long time.

All we need to do is get the QB position sorted out going into next season, and I see no reason why we can’t go 11-1 during the regular season.

Yes, please stop responding. Please restrain yourselves and do not respond or acknowledge. Thank you!!!
Problem is the "sng ruffled panties seniority police girl scout troop " can't get enough of the Big Ping Cane. ec20a7b8c29361dfad8f992505ea908c--daniel-oconnell.webp

Anyone who thinks CMR always calls plays is very misinformed.

Brooklyndee said this was true and he even said Dugans had called plays at certain times.

But we would have to think he's signing off on them. The thought of him playing eenie meenie miinnie moe with the offensive coaches is kind of scary

its hard to place much blame on Coach Brown for the offense's performance when he doesn't call the plays.

We have player's that are very well prepared and developed and their execution seems fine. Our WR's and RB's are outstanding.

Our problem is our situational play calling and at QB.

CMR has to improve that

I really think as it relates to situational play-calling just having a better Oline that can create a much bigger push will alleviate that. Too many times they were stuffed on short-yardage and goal line running situations and were not able to extend drives or punch it in. IMO, we will have a much better unit upfront across the board than last season and I expect guys like Donaldson to take a significant step in his second year

As for the QB spot, people know how I feel about things, but a superior QB always raises a coaches IQ by about a 100 points.

YES I agree 100%

Love the way DJs face lights up as he speaks about Lingard. You can tell he really cares about his teammates.
I noticed that as well. He could not stop cheesing. Not only could you tell that he genuinely cares, it means even more because it's towards his direct competition for carries.

What also stood out to me, beyond his care for Lingard, is you can tell that he is an actual fan of Lingards abilities on the field. How can you not love a kid live Deejay? He and Shaq are model Canes.

DJ Dallas is just a special human being. One of the best interviews I can ever remember since these have been being posted. He can play too. Looking for a monster year from him. We are so insanely loaded on O.

Totally agree and to see the kid light up when talking Lo, that’s a great teammate right there.

Deejay clearly knows who he is and is aware of what is around him. MI2 not so much.

These interviews are very hard because in practice and meetings your trying to beat everyone. Your position group and the position group opposite of you. Show no weakness to anyone. Then you get in front of reporters and you have to show all these people you are trying to beat a bunch of love for the camera.

Reporter: so Jeff it looks like your bigger.

JT: yea I gained 20 pounds but did not lose any speed. Don’t want to get thrown around out there anymore.

Reporter: did you get thrown out there last year?

JT: No, just want to be bigger.

Reporter: Do you feel you can block better?

JT: yea I can block now once or twice, I mean yea I am bigger now.

Reporter: worried about the incoming freshman?

JT: no because they will not know their plays and they will get thrown around.

And a vastly inferior one makes an OC look like trash. Here's hoping the next one makes Richt and company look like Einstein.

There’s some posters here that could use a superior qb
