Let's start with the defense:
- In pass coverage we are pretty terrible and Heatherman knows it. Tons of zone to prevent big plays (of which they still had some towards the end), but wide open for a bunch of shorter and wider throws.
- Omar Thornton is a good blitzer and tackle, but he's far from Keonte (who isn't, tho?)
- D-line I think looks pretty good all things considered, but teams are getting the ball out quickly and holding
- Fitzgerald is being a team player and taking on a position change. Looks to be a good player, but he's not being put in his best position, so expect growth this year
- Dunnigan looks like a player
- Defense looked good in the first half, other than the first drive, then got exposed. How good is Wake's offense? Hopefully good. Because we look to be in trouble without OJ and Xavier, plus Slime hasn't been in, has he?
Injuries :
- Moten (he's a dog), Marty, Toney, Fletcher, Mensah. What kinda voodoo was this?
Offense:
- Great, methodical first half. I'm all for taking what the defense gives you.
- Second half we got dominated.
- O-line couldn't hold up in pass pro
- Without Toney being a legit threat, our WRs stopped producing
Kick returns:
- Pringle doesn't look to have play making ability back there

With all that said, how extreme should our reaction be?
2001 barely survived Boston College. These games happen most year.
I am glad our team culture continues to be resilient.
