Post Game Recap

I agree. Enos adjusted his offense to his personnel. Jarren was elite today. We have speed/pursuit issues on defense. Overall this is decent win.
We do in terms of personnel, we simply don't have any pure 4.3/4.4 guys on Defense playing right now, however Louisville is a bit of an anomaly in that they are arguably one of the fastest offenses in the ACC.

It was expected that they would break a few, they just have the speed advantage over us with Tutu & Hawkins, but the way to neutralize it is to get TO's & be disruptive at the point of attack on the LOS & that's exactly what we did.

We certainly didn't play perfect, but we played them exactly the way we were supposed to.

Excellent synopsis as always, LCE. You nailed all points so not much to argue or add.

I think we are seeing a young OL starting to gel and take the next step, and we are seeing Jarren take ownership of the team.

Lastly, it’s good to see Enos finally wake up and adjust to his personnel. We are a pass first shotgun offense that uses the run to close out games. This ain’t Bama, and I think he’s finally grasped that.

Nice win against a team with a dangerous offense and full of players from S FL who would have loved to show out on our field.

Enos called a great game, he's continued the recent trend of playing the majority of the snaps from the Gun & utilizing the RPO heavy, it's literally what most of us have been asking for all year! Idk what took him so **** long but I'm glad his eyes were finally opened, this offense operates BEST as a Pass first RPO team, when we stretch the field & force Defenses to defend the Deep ball everything else opens up underneath. If we would've been running this style since Week 0 we'd be looking at a completely different record this season.
It is a head scratcher.

I'm tellin you EL..I still stand firm in what I said. Next yr..you'll be driving the Enos bandwagon, and Jarren will be a Heisman CANDIDATE. It always works..it's like Novacane-just give it time
I hope you're right. For the life of me I have no idea why he waited so long to go full RPO but I'm glad he finally did.

I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong, so I'll be hoping that's exactly what happens next year.

I think it's a case of a Coach wanting to establish his way of doing things & then realizing through trial by fire that it doesn't always work & he needed to adjust to better suit the personnel.

Coaches are stubborn & they don't like when something they've done their entire career doesn't work the way they think it should, it ****es them off when they're forced to go away from what they know.

I just hope he learned his lesson and doesn't try to take us back to what doesn't work come next year. We're a RPO shotgun team, not an under center "Pro style", the majority of the snaps should be out of the gun & we should be running a lot out of the Pistol in the future as well.

I agree. My speed concerns are mainly with 8,55, and 56. I think our LB’s speed will better next year. Bra Tutu & Hawkins speed is crazy in person. Would think it was CJ28 and Tyreek Hill playing today.

Well said.

Cant argue with any one that, it’s just so frustrating that once again, for the 17th year in a row, the fans see the obvious before the staff. We were talking about all this last spring and summer. Inexperienced qb, young and weak OL, receivers to play spread....

Props to the Senior class and LCE.

Watching the game now because i couldn't watch earlier. That first td pass to wiggins was a throw jarren would not have attempted even just a few weeks ago. He got smacked and still threw the deep ball. His confidence through the roof right now.
