Riley is a better coach too

Respectfully, Mario went to the horseshoe and beat OSU with Anthony Brown at QB; pushed them around.

If you give Lincoln Riley that same Duck team with Anthony Brown, does he win that game?

Likewise, if you put Caleb Williams on that same Duck team, how far does Mario take them?

U do realize u don’t have to see an int to know a turnover was made. Lol. The first thing he did was look up towards the field after TVD was held down.

Regardless, it wasn’t a dirty play.
Rell, scrub the video back lol

He’s in the process of a tackle and the first thing he does is grab the wrist. holding him there may have been the “smart football play” but the twist was not.

Scrub the video back; lmao! Lol!

Brotha; all I’ve done is slap it up, flip it, scrub it down. lol. My initial reaction was dirty, but it looked like when he was rising up, Tyler was grabbing on to the back on his helmet, & he was holding TVD down. Then when the play went past him, he looked up. Again, if I saw him yanking the arm or bending it, I would agree (which I initially thought), but I didn’t see that type of activity.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree on this.

I just find it highly convenient the qb that lit them up last year has known shoulder issues coming into the game, and the defender is forced to twist that same shoulder to keep him down after landing on him with his full body weight.

I hear u, my brotha; like u said, we’ll agree to disagree on this one. I didn’t see a Cobra Kai, sweep the arm moment, but in football, some have likened it to war.

In either case, what I’m more curious w/ is do our QBs have the freedom to check in to & out of plays. If not, shame on the staff. That was a clear coverage zero blitz w/ 0 adjustment to both exploit it, while protecting the QB.

Our QBs have been absolutely murdered this yr; I’m not a fan of Jake, but one thing I will say about him & give him credit for, dude is tough as nails. He’s been blasted a lot this season from his blind side, too.

Off topic, but being his dad is an alum of NB & w/ Rhule now coaching there, I have to imagine Jake packs up & tries to go there.

Lincoln Riley recruits at a high level too don’t forget that. Players gravitate towards elite coaches as well and good systems. You act like Mario’s one win is better than Riley taking ou to multiple playoffs.

Players win games.

One win in the reg season where you still got blown out twice the same year vs Riley taking ou to multiple playoffs as a first time hc and now possibly taking usc to a playoff in year 1 after a 4-8 season the year before

I cant.

I still don’t know what to make of it. Could be what you’re saying. Could be that their way is not working and need to figure something else out, which is also concerning. Could be that new player overhaul is needed. Could be so many other things.
Could be everyone right now is upset and…

You may be right and he may end up cursing this program for close to a decade. But if he takes that approach he'll burn the bridge between himself and the school.
It won’t get that far in my opinion. He has competent people like Alonzo around him. And he also doesn’t have an idiot athletic director evaluating him. He will make changes on his own or be forced to make changes by those above him.
