Post Game Locker Room

Lot of mixed feelings occurred. DeeJay was crying and was adamant this sh*t is not happening next year.

Demetrius Jackson, who unfortunately did not have the season we all wanted him to have, preceded Coach Richt with a great speech. He referenced the older players he came up with who have dealt with struggles, the young guys he challenged to leave the place better than how it was when they arrived, and thanked everyone for making an impact on him. Special guy.

Richt admitted he let the team down in a major way. Said it was his fault and he knows things need to change.

Jaquan and a few other seniors, especially Malik, were stunned this is how their Miami careers ended.

It was a mixed bag full of emotions, and now it’s onward to 2019. Here’s to hoping we see the changes we deserve.
I’m glad we lost in this fashion. It’s the only way to expose Richt

I would punch Richt in the face for what he has done to the program

Its the players who I feel bad for. Their season did not turn out this way due to lack of effort or determination on their part.

The university owed them more; The junior class especially. They're the ones who committed to UM not knowing who their next head coach would be. They ponied up blind faith in UM and the administration failed them. Looked them right in the eye and said, "We allow nepotism, regardless of outcome. As well, we don't provide oversight of our highest paid employee."

Just sad. I wish every kid in that locker room the best of luck in life.

Yeah, thanks for negging my post. I get it. I wish them the best of luck, too.

I'm sure Rosier is stunned that he went from breaking Vinny's TD record to...this...in one season.

Im not blaming nothing on malik at all, this **** is all on richt.
it's crazy how pervasive this sentiment is across the board. You guys realize that Malik can be a terrible qb and richt can be a terrible oc right? Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. Malik certainly deserves his share of blame for that awful performance.

Talk all the **** on me if it helps, but as a former D1 college athlete and the father of a former college athlete, I know better than to say the **** you said about a 23 year old kid who gave it his all. If Im not mistaken, you're close to my age (Im 33.....okay 53 :) ). Im quite surprised. You know I think highly of you as a poster.

The kids have endured a mind fu&k from the staff. Nepotism, our “best chance at winning”, static and stale O, no game planning, 8 practices, preparing for future teams during by week, etccc. Staff demonstrates winning not objective. All on staff and MR

That 1st pick was I was gonna give a pass..looked like Harly slipped or stumbled out of the break..the 2nd was Kyle Wright like..that 3rd one 3 was wide tf open..kosi tried to be Aaron Rodgers..for the QB play to be regressed to this..it’s bad. MR better be looking the grad transfer route or underclass route cause 5 doesn’t have it up stairs to be counted on. Jarren we’ll see how he progressed

all I know is when Golden was here Malik looked like he was the next guy up after Brad Kaaya left now Malik looks like an FCS QB. In a completely different scheme under Golden Malik was completing 65% of his passes against fbs opponents and looked liked he was gonna be pretty good after Brad kaaya left, now he seems he has regressed and can't even complete 50% of his passes.

No, because he should never be playing.

100% on your boy Richt.
