Post-Game Interviews

Shouts out to coach jess simpson, like i said way back in the spring, our d-line will be better against the run under coach simpson, our d-line is way better than last years, some were worried once rj & norton left. Shouts out to coach richt for having enuff sense to hire coach simpson, after that sack by joe jackson that they said wasnt a fumble, i dont think jess simpson has ever had as much fun in a game than he did yesterday, i bet he understands it now, lol. That game showcased to all the d-linemen committed and the ones thinking about committing what coach simpson will have them looking like.

That second half defense was old skool CANES style defense. Im still laughing at surrats, this man completed 4 passes and three of the was to us, LoL!

The people complaining about the game being the way it was must be new to the UM-Fsu contest. I dont know why domination was expected, had it happened i would not have been surprised, but ur o-line did what i expected. Coach richt and company are bringing in the talent for sure, fun times are ahead.

Also, what i like about coach richt, he's honest alot, i was thinking, might have to go to the bullpen and bring in rosier for a series, but than i was like naw, you gotta let kosi sink or swim this game that way come next year, the qb competition will be wide open, plus had richt made that switch, Fsu would've gained even more confidence.

This next game against UVA, is a game where alot of the young guys may get some more burn, after playing as physical as we played yesterday, that defensive performance in the second half would make any era Canes team and fans proud 45 yrds only, lol!

Jaquan Johnson = Cane legend
Jamal carter kept saying it before he left and they asked him why he kept saying jaquan was legendary, he say "yall will see".

And i luv how gerald willis be out there balling but paid homage to chad thomas before the season and put on his number and representing it to the Utmost, that's what True Cane family do. Gw3 could have played in any Canes era, also shouts out to pat bethel for keeping his job, quiet as kept, he been balling too.

Great interviews especially Pinckney’s and Jacquan’s. The defense as a whole played with tremendous heart in the game, taking a page out of JJ’s playbook - heart. They never doubted even when down 20 midway in the 3rd quarter. JJ giving the speech at halftime lit a fire under the team and as Pinckney said all we needed was a turnover to spark the offense. Very nice young men coming to the podium and giving us some insights into their thoughts on the rivalry.

RICHTERA Highlights of the Game

*Does not include Travis Homer's important run to seal the game

You can tell a lot about this team from these post-game interviews....Pinckney saying they would never leave a teammate alone on the FSU sideline and will take the penalty every time, to Jaquan mentioning that he never doubted, never retreated or surrendered.

This is the difference between a team of brothers and a bunch of fans. We wilt at the first sign of weakness and difficulty. They rise to the occasion. Love the heart they showed.

I never heard Perry talk before. Seems like a really nice kid. I was a little worried earlier in the year with the suspension and the talk of his team rules stuff, but I'm not after hearing him talk. Seems like a happy guy that sticks up for his teammates, and that's a good combination.
