Post game convo between diaz and dungey

From barry

Dungey, frustrated on a day he completed just 13 for 41 passes for 137 yards and those four interceptions, started barking at UM’s sideline after that final incomplete pass.

Quarterman and Anthony Moten got in his face, and Moten had to be restrained by defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski.

Though ESPN’s Bob Wischusen said UM defensive coordinator Manny Diaz was praising Dungey as he walked with him after the game, I’m not so sure of that, based on amateur lip reading. It appeared that Diaz wasn’t happy with Dungey’s antics. Diaz presumably will clarify that this week.

No way in **** Diaz ran up to him to criticize him. Dude deserves props for taking a beating but played like **** outside of our typical blow assignments.

Was just about to say. No way this wasn’t a positive exchange.

Manny was nothing but complimentary about his toughness, and assured him (and the RB #4 ) no other QB in the country could get up from what his guys laid down. Lecturing him about his antics is his coach's job, not ours, Manny knows that.

Remember DJack going crazy in the 3rd or 4th on #53 after Chad got hurt... Maybe this had something to do with it, b/c DJack was about to catch a penalty on every play. Manny was on the sideline talking to Djack before he sent him on the field. No lie, I pay attention to lil **** like that

Barry Jackson said today in his column that based on his 'amateur lip reading' he didn't know if Diaz words to Dungy were complimentary. :sneakiness:

Dungey is a real *****... No lie, we tried to take his heart and that dude fought back... Nothing but respect for that guy

Amazing.

if it were entirely complimentary i would think dungey would have looked at him directly and shaken his hand or something similar.

Bandy was going crazy after he got hurt also. A Syracuse player was giving him the business while he was on the ground. He got up snapping at the refs then had some words for their players as he was walking off the field...

Probably something more like: "Dude, I thought I was going have to send out for another dozen Turnover Chains. Are you colored blind?"

I could barely read his lips but I'm pretty sure he told him "he's huge pha ggot that really needs to work on his accuracy , and to quit crying like a ***** to the refs".

Oh and " good game"

Cribby big dog. U ready to fall back on Harbaugh yet?

Really hope it wasn't some kind of lecture. That just comes off as a **** move, like someone posted earlier the lecture is for his coaches to handle not Diaz. Now if Diaz ran over to compliment him then it looks like a serious class act. I'd like to think that's what happend

Why would I do that? A decade of being a very good doesn't change because he might not win double figures this season.

Any person that says he's any thing less that a very good coach is just playing the part of skip bayless. " Look at me , hot take guy".

I agree with very good. I think he has a short shelf life tho. He has a self destruct button i think. Hes a 5 year fixer upper

Dude is 6'4 240 lbs, he's bigger than every LB & DB we have.

I guess our back 7 is really tough as well. **** that guy.

This thread is soft as baby sh#t! Dungey got his clocked cleaned for a reason!

#63 or #65 was talking sh*t the whole game and our dline was talking sh*t back to him the whole game too. Even shaq was going at him

you guys are idiots if you think he was doing anything but complimenting the kid. I think the kid is a douche, but, opposing coaches don't run up to the other teams players after games and "lecture" them. that's out of line and cuse's coaches would be ****ed if Diaz went up to him after the game and "lectured" him.

he didn't lecture him or tell him how to behave in a game. I'm sure it was nothing but compliments. don't be so freaking stupid.
