Possible Miami vs Bama matchup??

Cane fans I have always known look forward to playing anyone anywhere.
It is a long shot Canes go to the Orange bowl anyway
The game on my mind right now is FIU
The next game is always most important one to me

remember when Alabama lost to Utah..matter of fact Utah dominated last time Bama was snubbed..or did you not follow CFB then..

remember when ecu buttfcked us? remember when syracuse dumped us on our face? remember when washington snapped our huge home win streak in dominating fashion? remember when bama embarrassed us on national tv in the sugar bowl?

who gives a fck about ONE game that happened what might as well have been a decade ago. None of those games I listed have anything to do with this game, just like neither utah nor OU beating bama means anything in this game. They are all OUTLIERS that mean nothing at all.

Idc if tua is out, they got another 5 star quarterback right behind him and take a close look at the scores. They lose ONE game to the best team in the country and you think "ah well I guess we can take on bama." Meanwhile we got a fcking walk on taking major snaps at one of our linebacker spots. LOL

I want a re-match with florida, not a 56-3 dusting.

I think itd play out similar to the UF game. We'd compete with a chance to win.

One thing about our boys -- they seem to have an extra gear when theyre playing against kids from S Fl. Jobe and Surtain would get the bidness.

(But let's get there first)

Would end up a lot like the Clemson game 2yrs ago. Hold our own against the run and on the line of scrimmage. DJ Dallas might have a decent game. Other than that, we wouldn’t be able to get out of our own way on offense or special teams

This is a lose-lose in my opinion. Worst case scenario we get beat bad. Best case scenario we play really well and keep it close or if we somehow won.. then it would just be that Tua was out, along with other high draft picks narrative.

It gives Bama the best recruiting scenario they can ever imagine down here. Not only playing in the Orange Bowl again but beating Miami. He would have that plastered all over the place and can hang that over us for the next two years. Would much rather play ND.

I’m all about for anyone, anytime, anywhere, but this would majorly benefit Bama while minorly benefitting us in all likelihood. We need a bowl win.

that would not be ideal.
**** it, bring em.
If we hold our own and make it a game, what happens?

If we get destroyed, what happens?

Id love to see what all the genius CIS football gurus think?

We may not be the best out there on the field, but our fans sure love to ***** about how we'll never compete with the Bamas and Clemson’s of the world....put us on the field with them and let's see what's up.

NO, I'm not betting on us, but I am one of those guys that really wants to see what this group can do when firing on all cylinders... And I want to see our SRs go out by pouring their guts out on the field. Not settling for some ***** *** bowl

Our program has weakened over the years... Yes
But our fans have defined our program with this weak *** **** as well.... "that would not be ideal"...GET THE **** OUTTA HERE!

Oh no, would Bama start taking anyone and everyone they wanted from South Florida?

You should be embarrassed to have Arnold as your avatar.

Dam, Alot of ya boys must not watch college football.. Ya shook off Bama clout and rep.. Their Defense is not lockdown and they have had some injuries all year in front 7. Probably one of Sabans worst defenses in recent history, maybe last decade.. Throughout Saban tenure their calling card has always been elite defense. IDK if its the DC, maybe Saban slipping, Early entries catching up, etc. but this year that defense isnt an close to elite.

Unfortunately for them, Tua is out and he was the transcendent star that bought Bama offense to another level. Of course they have talent at all the spots but the dropoff at qb would have to be immense. Plus they might most likely have alot of talent elect to sit out. Even with us losing to teams like GT, I think it would be a good matchup and a good measuring stick game for program. See what Manny can do with bowl season prep.
Certified ***** ****
So lying to yourself is manly?

No down side to playing Bama. If we could beat them it would be huge for recruiting. Lots of fans wanted a piece of Clemson in Charlotte. We would have got killed btw. We would have a much better shot against bama without Tua.

UF against Memphis?! Us against Bama? WTF are they smoking?!

Bama and their staff definitely won't want to be playing in that game. Now Saban would like to spank Enos, but the players wouldn't be very motivated to be playing in 'demotion bowl' after the run they've had.

It would truly signal an end, and maybe help me nail my prediction that this, or next year at the latest, will be Saban's last (FBI investigations are closing).

Remember that time choke artist Bob Stoops talked **** about the SEC, then switched his qb at the last min, and then beat the mighty Nick Saban?

Bama will play just like UGA did in their bowl game last season. That's not to say they're not capable of still crushing their opponent, but neither Saban or his players will be invested.

Saban actually looked like a defeated man last week when Tua went down.

Would be an interesting matchup. I was against getting murdered by Clemson in the ACC championship game (Clemson would be making a statement to the playoff committee), but think an uninterested Bama team with a lot of players sitting out could set up well for a shocking upset. Cant complain about the opponent if we lose 4 games in a season and still end up in the Orange Bowl! That would be some amazing luck.
