Well not according to the stats. I mean if your just going off what you wish then more power to ya but the stats clearly say Mallory is better without even being the starter. Now that Mallory is the starter he's going to blow right past this guy.

I read somewhere it was covid-protocol related so I doubt he will sit out against the Canes (unless he has COVID, which I don't think is the case).

Plus Bill O'Brien offenses are heavily dependent on tight ends. They're not gonna sit out their top TE when so much of the offense is designed around the position, especially in pass protection when going deep and on third down to open up the middle of the field. (They also know by now that LB is one of our weaknesses so I expect the TEs to be a big part of their game plan along with establishing the run).
