oj at CB1
Make them all earn it. Period.Should OJ have CB1 locked down just because he was the only one on the secondary that didn't suck last year? If he gets beat out by Brantley and Lucas so be it.
I just dont want hear that size plays a factor in brantley not playing. Tape n stats show us he's our best DB
Lucas is 1oj at CB1
Yeah. And we know teams will see how bad OJ was abused against Syracuse and try to repeat that.I want something I haven’t seen in awhile here, I want to see oj actually improve from year 1 to year 2. Especially with a shaky ending to the season.
It's Field, Boundary, Nickelback (word to Chad Kroeger) & Dime.theres no such thing as cb 1 or 2...... theres over 3 cbs on the field every play.
That Lucas- Frederique-Brantley combo sounds real formidable. And i like Ethan Oconnor a ton.
scott is nickel thoughtheres no such thing as cb 1 or 2...... theres over 3 cbs on the field every play.

I feel totally different than i felt the last 2 years at cb man. It's Field, Boundary, Nickelback (word to Chad Kroeger) & Dime.
But because most college CB's rarely travel, they mostly are positioned by sides, so it's Left, Right, Nickel & Dime.
OJ should be the Field, he played of his snaps on the Right side, but his best game was against Duke at Boundary.
Xavier played a significantly less amount of snaps than Romanas did & for the most part he wasn't nearly as good. That's not allowed to be discussed on the board, so I'll pivot on that topic.
But, between Romanas, XL, Chuxk Brantley, Ethan O'Connor & Keionte Scott, we have a 5 man rotation that can be used on both the Strong & Weak side.
i think they gonna end up using him and Damari at nickel. I dont think Chuck looked good or played there much in his career.scott is nickel though
I didn't list Damari because he's not good & hasn't been good.I feel totally different than i felt the last 2 years at cb man.
You see the 5 you named didnt even list Damari Brown and i think he even looked good in the spring.
Frederique is just impressive as **** to me. And i think the Oconnor and Scott additions are lowkey and arent talked about enough. Scott had a tough last year but dude may be more comfy with this coach and in a money year.
The talent excuse at cb is no more with this grouping. Now safetyyyyyyyyy?.
If these dudes could develop just a lil bit that top 6 of
Frederique, XL, Chuck
Oconnor, Damari Brown, Scott is fuego.
I also really like that CJ Ewald, Antoine, Bryce Fitzgerald class of last year.
* My boy CJ already putting on a lil weight.
Brantley has only played a grand total of 8 snaps at Slot Corner in his career in 4 years as a starter.i think they gonna end up using him and Damari at nickel. I dont think Chuck looked good or played there much in his career.
@Memnon would have to give the pff stats on that.
