Portis , Wingo, and Dunnigan

Getting that level of intensity at practice from day one is amazing for an incoming freshman.

Haven't done the math but for the earliest arrivers like Wingo, Cantwell and Dunnigan, it would seem like the a deep CFP run would give them the equivalent of full spring practice. Am I correct?

Edit: with the caveat that Mario said they don't have time to babysit them and they aren't getting the typical detailed instructions they would get in the spring. They have to hit the ground running and immediately be productive. Which makes the initial scout impact even more amazing.

Yup.
it’s also one hail of a tone setter.
The level of focus and intensity that’s being put out by the current players sets the bar way higher than a team that hasn’t played since November.

imagine being a recruit and going to see FSU’s practice and then coming down to Miami. It’s literally night and day.
