I agree but I don’t remember seeing Mendoza even look at a TE last night.

Caught a ball In first half, about 4 yarder, extended the play to about 9. Missed him on a play in second half...but your point is taken

It's both. You don't punt like that from your goal line. You sure as **** don't wiff on that block, EVER.

Brooks Austin (Film Guy Network) loves 87 on tape as a blocker.

He's probably the softest TE I've ever seen when making a catch. Can't hold onto anything or control his body through any contact whatsoever.

Fwiw he basically only watched us in the playoffs. He didn't see the other 12 games Bauman was complete ***.
He was okay blocking in the Playoffs on runs - and as a team we were far better blocking in playoffs, it's why we averaged like a whole yard or more per carry in playoffs than regular season.

But he has been the most useless starting weapon in the pass game I think we've ever had at TE. I've been saying it literally all year ..

In the gameday threads almost every time he actually managed to catch a ball I'd comment how much I missed Arroyo because there were multiple instances where if Arroyo had caught it he'd be gone and Bauman would get tackled about 5 yards after making the catch. Also cant even count how many wham blocks in particular he just whiffed on. Dudes a bum and don't want to ever see him in a Miami jersey ever again.

I told a good friend prior to this season he was the biggest loss from last years team and I hate I was so right

I thought he was going to have a great rookie year. Only caught 15 passes for 179 total. Wonder if he had it to over again if he would have run it back.
