Mueller looks like an NFL TE, he can do everything it all block and receive. If he can create that same separation in college (which I think he can easily) it will be difficult to take him off the field, he can be fyzical thats why.

Mueller has only been playing football for 2 years. Hes a beast but he might have a big learning curve. Hope he can be ahead of the process mentally cuz he has all the tools to be a major player here.

Jack Van Dorselear from Tennessee entered the portal.

He was only a true Freshman but Tenn lined him up everywhere and the kid made some crucial blocks. Seems like the kind of player Mario would love.



 
Tennessee kid and Oregon kid seem like the top options left, both with years to play.
 
I’m really not worried about TE, finding serviceable TEs are pretty easy to find. I think they they def need to find a vet TE that’s a little bit more dynamic. Bauman was a bad eval. Even though he has been better he’s just not dynamic enough and Lofton should be a FB and lineup in the backfield and flex out when they want.

This guy did that in his junior year. Spurlin has 2 years plus should be eligible for a medical shirt. There is a difference imo.
